Katniss piled a bag of groceries onto the kitchen counter. Jace and Primrose ran over to the bags and began to look through them. Katniss went over to Peeta.

" Why did you do that? We could easily grow these things!" Peeta was upset Katniss spent money at the market when they could easily grow those things.

" Peeta, I had to. Instead of hunting myself, I'd rather spend money on the things we need and teach Primrose other things, like how to not get killed and skills to hide. Hunting is very important, but she's pretty good at it already. She's good enough to win The Hunger Games. It's not just about hunting. Hunting is the least of our worries right now."

Peeta nodded his head. " Yeah, you're right. Just don't spend too much. After the kids put the groceries away, I'll teach Primrose and Jace hiding techniques they can use. If you want, you can teach them how to keep themselves clean, create a place to sleep and which water/foods are right and not right."

" Yeah, you could've used the last one yourself, honestly." Katniss and Peeta chuckled a little.

" Oh my gosh, mom! You got pancakes and chocolate sprinkles! Awesome!" Jace said, box of pancakes in one hand and chocolate sprinkles in the other.

" You're welcome. " Katniss walked over to the bags and took everything out.

" Can you two put the groceries away?" Katniss asked. They nodded. She walked out of the room, she was out of the kitchen.

" Without eating them!" Katniss yelled from the living room. Jace took the jar of sprinkles out of his mouth, closed it, and scraped the sprinkles off of his tongue with his teeth into the garbage can. Primrose turned around and rolled her eyes.

Peeta laughed and entered the living room. He sat on the couch, Katniss was at the desk.

" I think it's good that we're teaching Primrose other things, other techniques." Peeta said. He grabbed the remote and turned on the TV. The weather was on.

" Yeah.." Katniss began to listen to the weather channel. She walked over to the couch and sat next to Peeta, hands in her lap, she was slightly bent over.

Katniss laughed. " Well I guess that explains why it's so hot in the middle of December. Winter's late."

" ...and that is why a huge snowstorm will be hitting us tomorrow. Better get out your hats and gloves!" The weather person said. Peeta raised his eyebrows and looked over at Katniss. They exchanged looks.

" But... We have to teach Primrose.." Katniss began to worry.

" It could snow in the arena, so I guess it's better." Peeta calmed Katniss. She nodded.

" We should probably get started, showing them different techniques." Katniss said. Peeta agreed and they went to check and see if the kids were done putting the groceries away.

" Oh, hey, mom! I heard you and dad talking about you guys training me with some extra stuff. Sooo... When will we start?" Primrose jumped up. Katniss and Peeta gave each other a glance, and Peeta told her right now. It gave Katniss time to cook dinner and go find some fabric so they could make winter accessories.

" YAY!!" Primrose and Jace said at the same time. They gave each other a look and followed Peeta outside.

Katniss went to the living room. She opened one of the drawers in the desk and grabbed a whole bundle of fabric. Katniss was going to make Jace and Peeta's accessories, while she's making her own and Primrose can do the same.
