Jack was at the shooting station. Miyah Lew noticed him.
Jack shot at the target, and he missed by a full on inch. Andrew Owl chuckled at him. Jack noticed and frowned. Miyah felt bad.
" Hey," Miyah placed one hand on Jack's shoulder. " I can show you how to shoot straight if you ignore that moron Andrew over there." Miyah obviously meant the second part for Andrew more than Jack. Jack nodded.
Miyah showed him how to shoot straight, and after a few more times, he was able to get it right in the target. Every time.
" Thanks," Jack said. But from how soft his voice was, Miyah didn't hear him.
Then Rose came over. She picked up a gun and shot the target a few times, and surprisingly she got it in the center. Jack's eyes widened.
" How did you, how did you do that?" Jack asked.
Rose tilted her head and chuckled. She loaded her gun. " When your mom is Katniss Everdeen, you learn a lot."
