"Cause I don't wanna see you with her.
I don't wanna see her face.
Resting in your embrace."

October, 4th

"I came to see if you wanted to go for a walk through the orchards before lunch classes started." He asked her the question but his eyes flickered back to Oliver's as he said it.

"Sure. Let me go grab a coat, it's kinda cold outside." He grinned at her as she pushed last Oliver to get to her room.

"What do you think you're doing here, Oliver." Bill bit out once Robin had left the room.

"I could say the same about you, William." Oliver shot back at him.

Bill leaned against the doorframe with an attitude, "I just came by to see Robin. That doesn't bother you does it?"

Oliver's lip twitched and he clenched his fists to try and conceal his anger. "No. I couldn't care less who she sees. I only live with her and her brother. There's nothing there," He said.

"Oh, no need to let your sensitive ego get bruised with your ill concealed jealousy, Oliver. I'd say you don't have anything to worry about but then, I'd be lying."

"Like I siad. I don't care." Oliver was losing his temper quickly. He glared at Bill.

"You're obviously jealous. And no offence-But you're not my type."

"I don't get jealous over scum like her. She's got nothing to her name, virtually worthless." The words felt like a thousand paper cuts in his mouth and he didn't understand why.

Bill's fists and jaw clenched in synchronisation.

He had been bred to believe those things were true but something about her was different than the other socialites who were only after the money to his name. But she'd never notice someone like him. She was pretty, and friendly, and happy. She had friends and a family. He was the opposite and he could never purge her of the things that made her so perfect.

So he left. He stalked off to his room before William Braxton of all people saw him cry over a girl who was clearly off limits.
