Dearest Robin,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. Home seems boring without you and Perry around anymore. As you know, I live in a widespread community in the middle of nowhere and do not have a broadband connection. I hope you don't mind this form of communication. The tickets you're probably just noticing are for you guys to fly out to Ireland for the week following and the return expires at the end of the year so... whenever. By the way, my parents are back from Sri Lanka for the summer so you'll get to meet them when you get here. I don't know if that's good or bad news. Their names are Martin and Christina. I'm incredibly excited for your visit. It's not often my family meets new people— tou know, the nameless— they're very old-fashioned that way. I guess you already already knew that though, because we don't even have Wifi. Don't ask, I don't even know. Something to do with their medieval ways. It's grand though, they're not prejudiced like many other Direct Descendant families.

What have you been up to so far? Have you visited any of your old friends? Have either of you found out where you're maybe-being relocated to? I didn't even know if they would renew Perry's scholarship towards the end. No offence, but wasn't he picked from amidst the masses because of his brilliance? What happened? I hardly ever saw him do homework between all the time he spent with Madaelyn. I'm not angry with him or anything... I just don't understand why he suddenly slacked off so much. Atleast he finally picked up at the end of the year. Don't worry —even though I know you do anyway, I'm sure he'll get his scholarship renewed.

I've been curious, over the last year, since we met and became quite close friends. I do hope you don't think I'm not being overly foreword in this letter. I have no problem talking my mouth off (which you already know) but when you hand me a pen and a piece of paper, my mind goes blank. Back to my point, I've been curious over your home life. I mean, you never talk about any other siblings, which makes me assume you have none. Do you? And you rarely mention your father. What's he like? And your mother, she is a complete mystery to me. Do you take after your mother or father more? Now that I am coming to the end of my piece of paper, I am glad to notice that when it comes to thoughts regarding you, you're an exception to my usual blank-minded state when confronted with writing correspondence.

          Eagerly awaiting your reply,
                                                             Sincerely Yours, Bill.
