With her hair still soaking wet, dripping down the back of her neck. She wrapped the small towel around her body, -with it covering her mid tigh. She hoped to make a hasty exit to her room where her clothes were.
She secured it around her chest with a silent prayer for it to stay up and braved opening the door. She was praying to any God she could think of that her brother was not around to witness her embarassment.
She stepped outside. Her bare feet made no sound on the wooden flooring and she pulled the door closed behind her.
When she heard a door opening she looked up with wide eyes, her heart beat jumping.
Standing infront of her was Oliver. He had just come out of his and Perry's bedroom himself.
Her head came just below his chin and as she looked up, they made eye contact.
She knew her cheeks were burning red and she glanced at her bedroom door standing on the other side of the room.
Robin considered making a run for it. She would've, if only she wasn't wearing a towel that would fall off at any sign of extreme movement.
She was quickly brought back to reality at the sound of something smacking against the ground. She looked at him, and she was well aware of his presence again.
She was all to aware of his body that so close to her's she could smell him.
His eyes went as wide as saucers as he took in her attire -Or lack thereof- and his book dropped to the floor. With great haste he picked it back up again he grabbed at it blindly, looking anywhere but her.
He ended up gazing fixedly at a spot on his shoes. "Oh fuck-sorry, You can-I mean,- You should-" He stumbled over his words ineloquently.
He face palmed himself and let out a frustrated sigh.. The awkwardness of his adolescent body was tangible and he glanced down again.
She stood there for a few seconds -wondering what was wrong with him. He was always so put together and well spoken, that he just sounded odd now-
He slapped his large hand over his eyes and turned, facing his door, "You should go now."
And just like that, his icy exterior was back. The muscles in his back tightened involuntarily.
"Thanks for the books, Oliver." She said quietly to his back.
She pitter-pattered along the floor boards and made it to her room. As she threw on some clothes and sat down cross-legged on her bed with her head phones on, she sighed.
Robin leaned back, hoping to forget the whole morning had never happened.
Maybe if she turned her music on loud enough, she wouldn't be able to think.

The watermelon from his plate was disappearing quickly. He pretended that he didn't notice and her hand snook over to his place and snaked another chunk of the red, watery sweetness away.
Perry and Maddy sat beside eachother on her other side of the lunch bench and made disgustingly lovey-dovey eyes at eachother. They even shared a drink.
Gross, he thought to himself. Then he noticed her fork sneak over to him and he turned to look her in the eye. The dear caught in the headlights look on her face was priceless, but he kept it together, not quite done teasing her.
"If you were that hungry you could've just asked Helga for more watermelon at the counter, you know," He tasted offhandedly.
Perry laughed at his sister's expense.
"Ha -Ha. Very funny Bill. Now give me your watermelon," She reached out with her fork, "You don't even like it-" Robin stuffed a piece in her mouth with a tone of finality.
Bill just smirked knowingly, "Actually, I do like watermelon."
She swallowed quickly and her eyes thinned suspiciously, "Then why do you let me steal it?"
He just winked at her audaciously, laughing to himself.
Perry watched the exchange with ill concealed amusement.
"We better get going, I don't want to be late to History again. Mrs. Eldertree already hates me." Perry said as he and Maddy arose from the table.
"Bye Robin, I'll text you later!" Maddy spoke to Robin brightly, smiling at her.
"Sure, Madaelyn." Robin replied airily, not really listening to her. She was still thinking of a reason as to why Bill would let her steal one of his favourite fruits from his own plate. Then he nudged her and suggested they head off to class too.
"Ready to go?" His kind voice was a familiar sound. Comforting, like a favourite memory.
"Okay," She commented.
On their way out of the cafateria, she caught the eyes of a certain blond sitting at the back of the room. He smirked when he saw Bill's hand resting on the girl's lower back.
"Oh this is too good." He stated, quickly snapping a picture on his phone of the exiting duo.
The poor girl was so adorably oblivious to a competition she doesn't know how to win.
