Richard Sr. galumphed inside her room jolting her and making her almost rip the myriad of papers she was working on.

"Dad, ano ba-" She looked at him, twice, blinking at the state of her father "Anong nangyari sa'yo Dad? Okay ka lang ba? Tubig, gusto mo?"

She stood up and got his father a glass of water to quench his thirst.

As she gives him the liquid, she look at his physiognomy again, he was sweating like he just came out from an oven, his face was crimson red like he was slapped hundred times, and his chest was madly moving up and down, all in all, he was like he just finished a 5 km marathon.

"Dad, what happened? Bakit ganiyan hitsura mo?" She grimaced

"Nak, si Kuya RJ mo" He barely said after guzzling the water, choking some of it in the process "Alam ko na kung nasaan"

Her eyes went as big as a saucer like it would fall out from its sockets, she was sure she heard something good, she cleaned her ears softly

"W-what dad? D-did you just-"

"Yes anak, I found your Kuya RJ and Ate Maine" He reiterated "And we'll be going there, now. Pack your bags, si RD susunod na lang daw. Bilis"

"Yes. Yes dad. But I'll just inform Ate Maine's family"

She picked her cellphone up and started to form words and sent it to the said family

After sending all the messages, she scrambled to pack her things but realized something

"Dad, kanino-" But her father was already gone so she just shrugged and continued packing

After having a nice lunch, the Mendoza family sat awkwardly on their couch as they quietly watched the noontime show- the show that helped their Maine to gain success and fame, the show where she met him, the show why she was nowhere to be found.

But they were not chastising them, no, ofcourse it was their Maine's second family, it was them who gave her the confidence she lacked. But it was still disturbing for them when a month ago, she was there with JoWaPao and Alden.

Teodoro sighed, shook his head slightly. This was his daughter's 40th day after they ran away. He had called all their relatives, all the people he knew that would help them, but he still failed.

He sighed for the nth time today and focused his attention in front. He yawned, who says 4 hours of sleep is not tiring? His eyes started to close when a sound came in.

It was Dean's phone.

"Sino yan?" He questioned

Dean read the message and unbelievingly smiled in a relief way

"Tay, si Menggay, nahanap na daw po sila. Nag-text si Riza, papunta na raw sila dun"

"Ano?" Mary Ann

He couldn't believe his ears, his face broke into a smile like Christmas just came early, like a kid given bars of chocolate that melt on your tongue after months of being banned from sweets
