"Oh ano? Where is he?"
Richard asked for the nth time of the day and Charmaine almost rolled her eyes but controlled herself. Ever since she was awake– rudely woke up by Seth– her father had been a pain in the ass. He's been asking her nonstop to the whereabouts of Anthony. Too bad Anthony's not making an effort to reply in any of her messages so she's stuck to explain to her father about the situation which obviously her father wouldn't give a damn about.
"You asked me that hundreds of time"
"Well, you aren't answering my question so I'm repeating it 'til you give me an answer"
"Well he isn't answering my messages"
"What kind of suitor is he? Ngayon pa lang sa inaasal niya, pinapakita niya na sa'kin na hindi siya nararapat para sa'yo"
Charmaine frowned but decided not to fight against him to avoid further misunderstanding. She slightly scraped her screen with her fingers, gripping it tight and wishing Anthony would just reply.
Seconds later, her wishes came true when she felt a sudden vibration and her screen lit up with Anthony's reply.
"Papunta na raw siya Pa, nagkaroon lang daw ng emergency sa bahay nila kaya 'di siya agad nakaalis"
Richard nodded and left. When her door was closed, she belly-flopped down on her bed and started tinkering her phone, sending messages to her bestfriends, Zia and Lillian.

She updated Lillian again because she promised her yesterday since Lillian was so disappointed that she couldn't come and point Anthony's gayness to her.
She was about to let her phone down for a bit when she a reply just came in. It was from Lillian.

She rolled her eyes and expected her message to be like that because Lillian's messages to her would always have the words gay and anthony on it.
