"Maine? Tisoy?"

An almost tired voice rang out of the whole room, the couple inside perked up at the sound of the soft voice they had missed so much.

Maine was the first one to recover out of her stupor, throwing the sadness that began to spreaf in her out of the window, she stood up and beamed her melting smile to the man and wrapped her hands around his waist inhaling his fatherly scent in the process making her almost tear up again.

The man smiled, caressing her locks gently, murmuring words of encouragement to her, almost inaudible from being muffled with her head but she heard it, loud and clear.

And that's when Maine lost it. Completely releasing what she has been bottling in.

Seconds later, she started bawling her eyes out.

Her broken sobs echoed.

And the small gasps coming out of her plump lips seem to break her husband out of his thoughts.

Richard stood up beside the two hugging figure, clasping the man's shoulder and greeted with enthusiasm,

"Bossing!!!"

Vic and Maine then broke from the hug.

Vic faced Richard, chuckled whilst shaking his head at him.

"Ikaw naman. 'Di ka pa rin nagbabago Tisoy, bossing ka diyan. Parang iba ka naman. Tito na lang o kaya Tay, parang anak ko naman na rin kayo neto ni Menggay"

Richard nodded.

"Sige po, sasanayin ko po sarili ko"

"Good. Good. Teka nga, upo muna tayo rito, nakangangalay na nakatayo lang tayo"

When they sat on the bed, that's when Vic noticed the three little playing lions placed on there, their innocent big eyes looking up at him with such admiration.

"Ito na ba 'yung mga butchikchik niyo? Aba ka-cucute pala, ngayon ko lang sila nakita ng malapitan, sa mga pictures na naman, ang lalabo"

Vic happily held up Seb and cooed at him.

Maine and Richard winced slightly at his comment, Vic is like their father and so, not having him beside them during those times was as painful as what their own family felt.

Maine sighed and caressed Sieg's locks

"Sorry po Dad, alam niyo naman 'yung naging sitwasyon namin, e-eh ayaw naman na po namin sanang mangambala pa kaso mukhang lumala pa ata 'yung sitwasyon"

Vic smiled and shook his head

"Okay lang Menggay, 'di naman ako nagalit, nagtampo, oo, pero naiintindihan ko kayo, mga bata pa kayo, marami pa kayong kamaliang pwedeng gawin at dun kayo makakakuha ng mga aral na gagamitin niyo sa buhay niyo. Pero sana lang natuto kayo sa mga 'yun"
