10 minutes before the ceremony of baptizing starts, as the chapel was abuzz, out of nowhere, a familiar woman with a middle-aged woman in tow came in between the big doors and walked on the aisle approaching the couple.

The people present were all shocked to see her, and all their faces are alike, all screaming the question "WHAT THE FUCK IS SHE DOING HERE?" but she didn't mind

"Hi Alden. Hi Maine. Hope I'm not late, I had to fetch my gifts pa kasi sa shop kaya medyo na-late ako"

Maine smiled at her

"Nope Julie. You're just in time the ceremony is about to start pa lang in 10 minutes. Upo ka na lang muna diyan"

"Okay. Ah ito nga pala si Ate Des, personal assistant ko, siguro okay lang na dinala ko siya?"

"Oo naman. Hello po ate Des, Maine po pala"

"Sus kilala kita. Ikaw pa ba? Hello Den"

"Uy ate Des, buti nakapunta ka"

"Wouldn't miss it for the world. Upo na kami Den, Maine"

The couple nodded. Julie and Des then approached the third row seats sitting beside Richard Sr. who greeted them politely, but one could tell he was just being nice to them not to be rude, but there's a thick line between them- awkwardness

Maine looked at them before looking at her husband who was playing with Seb and Seth

"Kakilala mo pala 'yung ate Des? Parang close kayo ah"

"Oo naman. Dati, nung panahong may something-something pa sa'min ni Julie, ate Des was always there for us, for me, tsaka si ate Des din 'yung nagsisilbing nanay na rin niyan ni Julie kasi wala namang pakialam 'yung mommy ni Julie sa kaniya, sa pera at kasikatan lang niya siguro meron"

"You still had that grudge for her?"

She inquired knowing how Julie's mother's attitudes are comparable to a villain, she reckoned she was a devil in her past life. Months after they started going out, Richard told her how Julie and his' "something-something" didn't last because of Julie's mother, how she's a bitch at being an inquisitive, how she always like to degrade other's confidence, how she always like to look down to people she considered as "low" and make snide comments about their status in life. And how was she the very reason for him to stop running after her, how he hated that bitch.

"Nope. Matagal naman na 'yun, sure pinahirapan at minaliit niya ako dati pero nag-sorry na rin naman siya, tho alam kong hindi siya sincere pero wala kinalimutan ko na rin 'yun. Tsaka come to think of it, Love, partially, she was the reason why I am the luckiest man, mapapangasawa ko na ang pinakamagandang babae sa balat ng lupa, you know I had to thank her"

He winked at her and she hated the fact the she blushed like a fool highschool girl who just had seen her crush. She rolled her eyes at him and slightly tapped his chest

"You know, making a woman blush is really your craft noh? Napakabolero mo. Maiwan na nga kita diyan, kuhain ko na si Sieg dun kay Coleng baka padating na si Father"
