Tonight marks a month that I've been singing with Abel which means there are three more days until the tour is over and my birthday. We're in Atlanta Georgia staying at the Hilton Atlanta. I think it's four in the morning and I couldn't sleep so I decided to walk around the suite lost in thought.
It's been over a week since Abel fired Callum, and a week since the threatening text messages from an unknown number started.
I haven't told Abel about it because he's been acting weird ever since I had that talk with Bella who interestingly messaged me on Instagram for my number and we've been texting ever since. She's not a bad kid.
I don't think Abel likes how chummy we've gotten this past week. He likes to pretend he's not being nosey when she texts me, I catch him all the time.
Smiling to myself I go in the kitchen for a snack. Taking down peanut butter and taking out a couple cinnamon cookies I sit at the table mixing them together.
On my second cookie the light pops on revealing the ever lovely Wesley, "Peanut butter and cinnamon cookies... are you high?"
I laugh spreading the cookie with peanut butter then hand it to her, "Can I just be hungry?"
She sits taking the cookie, "I don't know. Last time I saw you eating this you were stoned out of your mind"
"Well I'm not, so"
Getting another cookie Wesley asks, "Soo, does Abel have any plans for your birthday?"
"He said he wanted to do something for me but hell if I know, stop eating my cookies. There are more in the kitchen" I take my last cookie before she has a chance to put it in her mouth.
She sucks the peanut butter off her fingers before kissing my cheek, "So greedy"
"What are you doing up anyway?" I say changing the subject.
Wesley pauses before turning to me, "Don't make a big deal out of this"
I frown, "Out of what?"
Giving me a guilty look she says, "Lamar and I have kinda been... ya know 'hanging out' together"
It takes a couple seconds for her meaning to sink in, "You guys have been hanging out? Like fucking?"
She rolls her eyes marching in the kitchen, "See this is why I didn't want to say anything"
I quickly follow jumping up on the counter, "Well you did so spill"
She opens the refrigerator taking out some juice, "I mean there's not much to tell. He hit on me at that party but it didn't go anywhere" she starts with a shrug.
"Then he found me on Instagram and we've been kind of talking which changed when you hired me to be your stylist" she puts the juice back.
"And you weren't going to tell me?"
Wesley takes a timid sip, "Don't be mad" is all she says.
"Are you kidding me??"
She bites her lip avoiding eye contact. Wesley's been on this tour for like a week and she's getting more action then me. How is that possible.
"He's actually expecting me back so I'll see you in the day time. Whatevers keeping you up don't worry too much about it, you're happy and I want it to stay that way. Do you understand?"
I cross my arms kicking my feet, "I hate you"
Kissing my cheek Wesley dashes out the kitchen telling me she loves me.
