10:25 A.M.Right now, I'm sitting on Abel's jet smoothing my fingers along Thursday's back while we wait for clearance to take off; until then Abel stands outside with the crew getting in his last goodbyes.
Kicking my foot back and forth I ponder how long Wesley is going to ignore me. After Tahj took her home, I texted her all night trying to apologize and explain I didn't want her to be alone while I'm gone.
Since she's moved in with me, she's been more clingy than usual. But I tolerated it because she was nervous about calling her mom and her brother making me her only support all because she refuses to talk to Lamar.
I understand he hurt her, I'm not even suggesting they get back together, but he should be involved in this pregnancy. This baby is as much his responsibility as it is hers and since she decided to keep it, her and Lamar need to talk.
It's then my phone vibrates breaking me from my thoughts and I pick it up to see its Wesley.
"Hey, how are you?" I quickly answer.
"I'm pissed at you" is her answer. "But I couldn't let you leave without saying goodbye and I hope you and that asshole boyfriend of yours have a fun vacation"
"I'm sorry, Wesley. I was just trying-"
"I know what you were trying to do, Nava" she cuts me off. "And... okay yeah, you guys are right, we need to talk, and we will when I can stand to look at his face. Until then my mom's gonna come down for a little while"
I perk up hearing that, "You called her?"
"Yeah. Surprisingly she was more excited than disappointed which is weird; but she'll be here later tonight, and we'll talk, make some plans and then I'll think about seeing him. Just not right now, the pain and anger is still very fresh and I don't want to be too stressed out right now"
Understanding what she means, I nod my head even though she can't see me. "I'm just happy you're okay-or will be"
"Yeah... I will say I talked to him last night after everything. It's good to know he actually wants our baby" I hear a smile in her voice and a wave of relief washes over me hearing something good came out of last night.
"I'm glad, you guys will work this out" I smile.
"Yeah, he'll need his dad too"
"Oh, you think it's a boy?"
"Maybe, I'm just guessing. But I'm going to go, I'm exhausted. Enjoy Japan, I expect pictures"
"Of course. I love you"
"Love you too, Doll. Text me when you land"
"Talk to you then" I tell her, and we hang up just as Abel steps into the cabin and I smile when he plops down across from me.
"First smile of the day, you musta talk to Wesley"
"I did actually. She just called me to wish us a fun trip"
Placing his duffel bag in the seat next to him, he gets comfortable, "Told you she wasn't going to stay mad at you for too long. Me on the other hand, I don't know"
I smile remembering she just called him an asshole, "Yeah, she probably won't forgive you as fast. I'm just happy she's going to be okay, she finally called her mom"
