Just Stepping out of the shower, I grab a towel to dry off before I wrap it around my body as I step over to the sink for my comb.

Pulling it through my curls, I glance down at my stomach through the mirror, and I think about what Abel said last night.

One day in the future, I want to share babies with you.

I'm not sure if he meant it or if it just came out in the heat of the moment but I'd be lying if I said it's never crossed my mind. We don't use protection, and he never pulls out so it's honestly a wonder I haven't gotten pregnant yet.

Done combing my hair, I wrap it in a bun before I reach under the sink for my lotion. Dropping my towel, I rub the cream over my skin.

Now thinking about Wesley and Lamar, I see we're just as irresponsible as them. I'm not mad about it, for some reason I feel like our situation would be different maybe.

I mean it's not like we wouldn't be able to take care of it, however I don't think we're ready for that stage. We haven't even been together a solid year. We don't even live together.

Finished with my lotion I put it back under the sink then go in the adjoining closet to get dressed in a short jumper. Once I'm finished, I walk out to the bedroom where I take a moment to look out the patio doors.

When I woke up this morning Abel and Thursday were nowhere to be found which led me to believe he took her for a walk.

A walk that has taken well over an hour and he didn't take his phone so I can't call to see where he is.

My lips pressed together; I turn to head downstairs.

Coming around the corner I look up when the front door opens and Thursday barks as she trots inside with Abel right behind.

"There you are" I smile.

"Oh, good morning" he closes the door locking it.

"You guys went for a long walk" I bend down to pet Thursday when she trots up to me.

"I needed some fresh air" he walks by me towards the kitchen. "You eat yet?"

"No. I was about to make something" I stand straight to follow him catching his slight attitude.

"Wanna help me make breakfast"

"Sure, what are we making?"

"I'm in the mood for steak and eggs"

In the kitchen, I open the fridge for the egg carton, and I notice the bowl of leftover spinach I made the other night.

"Why don't I make spinach omelets?"

"Cool. I'll make the steak and rice" he says, and I nod my head still surprised rice is considered a breakfast food here.

Getting to work I pull out the butter then find a pan.

Abel and I cook for the next forty minutes in total silence, and I begin to wonder if something is wrong. I can't imagine what it could be, we've been in this house since we got here.

Once breakfast is finished, we sit at the table to eat, his sour mood very obvious at this point.

Picking at my food my head pops up when he says, "So... I saw Bella the other night"

"Oh yeah?" I lean my head on my hand.

"Yeah, she was having dinner with her sisters at Nobu."

"Oh... did she say anything?" I continue to pick my food honestly uninterested.
