Date

A/N: I am so sorry for not being on. I was really busy and I barely had any free time to even watch YouTube..

   I woke up groggily to a text message. I reach out my hand to grab my phone and squint my eyes at the terribly bright screen. It was from Adam.

"You'll never guess what!"

I had no idea what he was so excited so I texted him back.

"What?"

"Max and I are dating now. :)"

Adam must be really happy because he never uses emoticons.

"Nice man."

"Oh by the way, are you free tonight?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Max told me to bring someone to our date. It will be like a double date."

"But I don't have a date Adam."

"It's ok, Max is going to bring someone one."

"Oh so it will be like a blind date."

"Yup. We'll meet you at the Recherché at 7 then."

"Ok well ttyl Adam."

"You too."

As soon as I put my phone down, I immediately fell back asleep.

*Later that Day*

I had no idea who my date would be. It could be anyone but I felt that I had to look my best.

I was really nervous.

"Get a grip Anthony, everything will be fine." I sighed and put on the jacket to my suit and walked out the door.

My parents were still gone so I could be out as long as I wanted. It was weird not having to follow the normal rules but it was really nice too though. I didn't have to worry as much.

15 minutes later I made it to the Recherché. The Recherché was a bit of a fancy restaurant with tons of different types of foreign food. As soon as I walked through the door and saw who was with Adam and Max my jaw dropped. It was Steven.

I slowly walked up to them.

"Hey Anthony!" Adam and Max smiled and waved.

"Hey guys." I replied a bit slowly.

"You remember Steven right?" Max asked.

"Ya, nice to see you again." I turned to Steven.

"Yeah, nice too see you again too Anthony." He said quietly.

As we were getting walked over to I accidentally brushed hands.

"Whoops, sorry." I said while realizing that I was blushing.

Why do I do this too myself? I thought.

We sat down and I looked at the menu. There was so many choices to choose from but I just ordered some pasta. Adam ordered lobster, Max some Bisi bele bhath and Steven some Sansai Soba. I think I got the least foreign dish ever but I didn't mind because it was pasta.

As we waited for our food we all talked to each other just having a good time. Steven didn't talk that much but I could tell he was having fun.

Finally we got our food and quieted down. Max and Adam started talking to each other just leaving Steven and I in silence.

"I really am grateful for what you did the other day for me." He said with a slight smile on his face.

"I couldn't just let that happen to you. You didn't deserve to get beat up."

He looked up at me and smiled.
I blushed.

Fuck, I did it again. I thought frustrated at myself.

We keep talking and got so lost in the conversation that we forgot that Max and Adam were even there.

They had to break our conversation when the waiter came to take the bill. Adam payed for himself and Max, so I pulled out my wallet to pay for Steven and I.

"Anthony, I can pay. You don't have to." He said quickly.

"No, I insist." I said as I put my money in the money holder and gave it to the waiter.

I walked Steven to his house and stopped at the door.

"I had fun tonight." I said as I put my hands in my pockets.

"Yeah me too we should do this more often." Steven said.

"I agree." I said awkwardly.

Suddenly I felt Steven grab me and then he kissed me. I kissed back without thinking. It lasted about 6 seconds but it felt like 6 minutes.

He pulled back from me and his eyes widened. He stood there for a second then he ran inside and slammed the door behind him.

I just stood there in disbelief, processing what happened.
