Next to You

YIKES! I'm so so sorry I've been so busy with school and other things I haven't even been able to watch YouTube... Well here's a new chapter...

    "Ugghh" I woke up to the sunlight in my eyes.. Then I realized that something was wrapped around me. I looked on the left of me and saw Steven laying next to me.

    I jumped up and yelled "Why are you in my bed!" He woke up and rubbed his eyes and replied, "What you don't remember?" I just looked at him with a scared look on my face.

    He started laughing and looked at me. "Don't worry nothing happened."

"Phew thank god," I thought.

    After a bit my memory came back and I remembered why he was here and why he was in my bed.

    We decided today that we were gonna go on a hike. I wasn't very fond of physical activity but it meant some alone time with Steven so I didn't mind. We grabbed our jackets and started walking.

    After hiking for about an hour we finally reached the top of the hill. It was cloudy but it didn't look it would rain. We started to have lunch when out of nowhere it started pouring.

    "Grab the food and get under the overhang." Steven shouted over the loud pounding of the rain. We ran with the food over to the overhang with the picnic tables underneath.

    We both breathed heavily for a little bit then it changed to silence. Suddenly I felt some warmth on my hand. I looked down to see Steven's hand on mine and I smiled to myself. "You know," he said in a serious but heartwarming tone, "You've been the best thing in my life." I looked over at him while kicking my feet back and forth. "I'm glad." After I said that we locked eyes and I blushed awkwardly. 

    Our faces got closer and closer till we kissed and I could feel his breath; it gave me chills but a good kind. We stayed like that for a while then we both lay on the picnic table and watched the rain fall.
