Truth

*Anthony's P.O.V*
I looked up at Steven who was crying and holding me.

It made me feel terrible just to watch him cry. I didn't know who felt more devastated  but him holding me made me feel a bit better. After we both calmed down, I asked him a question.

"How did you see my dream Steven?" I asked full of curiosity.

He looked at me for a second and said, "it's one of my powers if I touch someone while they're dreaming I can see the dream, like, I can touch someone's forehead and I can see their dream. It's kinda an useless power."

"Wow that's so cool!" I gasp in awe.

I could barely see him the dark but he seemed to light up with happiness but I realized he was actually glowing; he was getting brighter and brighter each passing second.

I keep gazing in awe and he stared at me until he looked down at his hand.

"Oh yeah I can light up in the night too."

"Wow my boyfriend is so amazing!" I said then immediately blushed.

Steven just chuckled and said, "So is mine."

I gave him a bear hug and seemed to glow even more. I smiled and looked at his adorable face. I gave a quick kiss on the lips then laid in his arms.

His glow dimmed as he fell asleep and I buried my face in his chest grinning like an idiot.

Ring ring

I woke up to hearing my phone ringing and feeling like I was being suffocated. Then I remembered than my face was in Steven's chest. I forced myself out of his grip even though I didn't want to. I turned over and groggily answered my phone.

"Hello?" I asked with a tired voice.

"Hey Anthony! Sorry if I woke you up but our flight got delayed so I thought this would be a good time for you to tell me what you wanted to."

"Ah ok give me a second." I said while getting up and walking outside so I wouldn't wake Steven.

As I walking I was trying to rack up in my brain what I was going to say.

"Ok Mom listen to me for a second, there is a boy staying at the house because-"

"Anthony you can't just invite people to our house!" She said sternly.

"Just hear me out please, Mom."

She just sighed and said, "Ok."

"I let him stay him stay here because his parents were abusing him and he had nowhere to go."

I heard the line fall silent for a moment.

"Oh well I'm glad you were being kind but he can't stay with us forever. We will have to call social services or something and figure it out. You know that Anthony."

"Well can he stay until then?" I asked full of hope.

"Sure Ant, is he cute?"

I blushed and stuttered a simple yes and thank you.

We said goodnight to each other then I went upstairs and put my head in Steven's chest again smiling."

Later the next day at lunch~

"I'm stealing Steven for a little date." I said grabbing his hand and pulling him away from the table. The last thing I heard was Sark saying "Take him to church first so God can give you protection!"

I just shook my head in amusement and kept walking. I took him to the space under the stairs. 

"Close your eyes." I said digging through my backpack. I looked back at him to make sure he actually closed his eyes.

I pulled out a box and put it in his hands.

"Okay you can open them now."

He opened them and looked down at the object, smiling.

"You got me a villager amiibo!! I've been wanting one for ages."

"I remembered you said you always wanted one, one night so I thought I'd get you it as a small gift." I said as I saw him glowing; smiling and his beautiful green eyes lit up with joy.

God he's so cute!
