I reacted fast because knowing she didn't have anybody, she needed me. As I was holding her I said what I had to say. "I really need for you to listen. You may think me holding you is weird, But I feel you need me. Nobody is perfect and yes we live in a judgmental ass world sometimes. My dad hated the fact that my best friend was gay. He knew I wasn't attracted men. My best friend and I  had something going on at one point. She came over and when we was kissing my dad saw us. He was disappointed in me. I didn't care cause we only kissed to see if I wasn't tripping on if I liked girls. Plus I was grown. I know yesterday we talked and got to know each other but please trust me and tell me why your crying. You are to beautiful to be crying. Talk me sweets." I whispered my story to her.  She looked up at me. "My ex in that story was my best friend, we broken up because I came home crying all the time. She said I was overwhelming her, and she needed to be by herself. " she said letting out more tears. I moved closer as her head was looking down. I thought about what would make her happy. I got up and bent down and looked at her. "I'm going to go home get some clothes for a couple of days I'm going to make dinner for us like I Promise to Promise " I said giggling. She giggled too. "Okay, sounds fun and comforting. Good thing I don't have to work for 3 weeks since people are on business trips." She said. I kissed her on the head and headed home. I packed more then I thought, but Oh well. I really feel that Promise did not need to be alone. I think she really needed me since I had understood her.

I arrived home, I walked in and my mom and dad was watching t.v together. "Hey you guys. Um, I'm going to be out for a couple of days. "

"Uhh okay? " They both said.  "Okay!" I said smiling rushing up stairs. I started to pack,  as soon as heard "Hold on" by Drake. It was Promise ring tone on my phone, she was calling. I picked it up.

"Hello, beautiful. "

"Hey can you bring ice cream?" she asked.

"Yes I will, anything else?"

"No that's it, just come back to me quickly. I need you." She whispered.

" I need you too, I'll see you soon." As I hung up. To be honest I really felt like I needed her, just as much as she needed me. I really missed her, so I packed faster. I felt that since she cried to me, maybe we can get emotionally attached.

I got done packing and my phone cherp, it was a long text from Promise.

"It surprises me that I'm comfortable around you. Maybe the other day was actually a sign. I feel like I known you more then a couple days. I really didn't know how you would have felt about me being lesbian, but to know you are to made me even more comfortable. I'll leave the door open for you , so come right on in. I have something for you after we eat and talk. XoXo.  Promise. "

As I read her text I smiled. I felt a change coming and it was a good one. I was going down stairs hoping my parents would not ask any questions. "So where are you going?" My mom asked just as I was leaving. I sighed turning around. "No disrespect Mom and dad, but I know I live under your roof, but I'm grown. " I said. "Understandable, but like you said you live under our roof.  We deserve to know where your going." My dad said. "This is exactly why I'm moving as soon, all these rules are to much for me. I am 20 years old. I deserve to be treated like an adult. I will see y'all in a couple of days. If you need me, you have my number." I said and walked out rushing to get in the car before they came out to argue with me.

I finally drove off. I stopped by the store to get stuff for our dinner, and Promise ice cream. I bought some other stuff to. Walmart always comes in handy. I finally made it back to Promise house. She was sound asleep on the couch. I just started bringing everything in. As soon as I got started cooking, I heard Promise calling my name.  I walked in the living room and she ran to me hugging me. I felt a tear on my shoulder. "I thought you wasn't coming back. You didn't reply back to my text message. " She said. I apologize for not texting her, I told her that my parents was tripping so it slipped my mind.

"Okay, so what are you going to be making us?" She said smiling. "Well on the menu we are having chicken dumplings and  Mac & cheese. For desert we are having ice cream with chocolate covered strawberries with caramel drizzled over everything with wine." I said smiling.

"Sounds good, I hope you using the wine I bought. " She said laughing.  "Yes I am, now come help me cook beautiful."

Two hours went by and everything was done. We sat down and ate. As we was eating I wanted time to talk to her and get what ever it is off her mind.

Me: Promise, how you feeling now?

Promise: I'm better now.

Me: Um, I wanna get straight to the point. Where do you want this friendship to go?

Promise: Since the day you came over I couldn't stop thinking of you, then today you was there when I needed someone. When you left I missed you. I don't know what's going on with my feelings , but I feel like I want to be in a relationship with you soon. I just don't want to rush anything.

Me: Understandable, I feel the same way.

We end up finish eating. We went to cuddle on the couch and talked about our  fast, weird, comfortable feelings for each other. It was cute, exspecilly when she gave me a Teddy bear she bought me. We end up falling asleep in each others arms.
