A New Start

*A Few Months Later *

Lisa POV

Last month was hard after my mom and dad's frunal. Things isn't so bad any more my best friend has a beautiful baby girl. Promise and I are unbreakable. We had a few arguments but that won't stop us.We actually had a talk the other day after watching our God daughter being born about how we should think about having a child of are own.Today we going to go drop flowers of to my mom and dad grave. I still try not to regret the fact that I never apologize to my dad But I know he forgives me. I hope. I try to show love still even with them being gone. I talk to them When I pray, Yeah I know they don't talk back But every time I talk to them promise is always there to tell me they love me to and kiss my forehead like my dad use to When I was a kid and call me princess like my mom did.Even though those kid like things use to bother me, they actually make me smile now. She's My queen and she treat me like hers, but anywho....

Promise: (yelling down the stairs ) Bae wtf? Why My walls red?

Me: Bae we need color In the house all it is, is white walls wooden floors and brown and tan furniture.

Promise: Jesus You Right!  Then since we doing that it should be red black and white. Sexual colors cause You know how we do.

Me: You Right, let's go pick up paint and shit. Sidney want they room sky blue and white. And the baby room pink and purple.

Promise : Alright here I come.

  Bae came down looking cute, even in her chill clothes. We got in the car and drove to home depo. We bought paint and things, stopped at a few other stores. We drove to get us something to eat and talked a little.

Promise: Ugh bae, I'm full. I swear you eat like a bird. You make me feel fat when Im done eating first.

Me: Bae even if you added a hundred pounds to you I'll still love you.-Laughing -

Promise: I'm already thick, I don't need to be fat now,but nothing is wrong with a big girl. So our God daughter is going to love her crib and things.

Me: Buying her toys and stuff and she can't even play with them yet. Shaking my head.-Giggling -

   We got to the house and started fixing up the baby room with pink and purple stuff . We painted the walls and put the crib together as the wall dried. We started to put flower stickers on the wall. We was so tired so We layed on the floor. She fell asleep on me and all I could think of was everything passing by. Wondering when could I propose to her, When We can have kids of our own. Just a little bit of everything. I still miss my mom and dad but Promise always there to make me feel better. Damn I love this girl.

They drift off to sleep together.....

Sidney:  Wake y'all asses up!

Tori:  Y'all did I Good job in here.

Promise: Well we worked hella hard so of course it's a Good job. (Laughing ) Just need to put down the carpet and bring in the crib and toys.

Lisa: *Ugh* baby I'm sleepy...

Sidney, Tori,Promise:  SO! 

(Laughing )

    A couple hours went by and they all worked on the baby room till it was complete done.

We finished the room and it was beautiful. Im actually glad we finished up my God daughter room. It was hella girly but hey I know she love it because she was giggling and showing her gums. She is a very happy and goofy little baby to be going on 4 months. We put her to sleep and decided to cook dinner together as a group. Sidney had the chicken. Tori had the white rise.  I have the cheese broccoli, and promise had the apple pie. The house smelled so Good it felt like food Heaven. Then speaking of Heaven, Nevaeh (the baby) let out a loud cry. She had to be hungry so Promise made a bottle and took it up to her. A Good 30 minutes went by and promise came down with Nevaeh and put her in her bouncer that's in the living room and came to took out the apple pie.

Promise:  Lord knows how much I love Nevaeh. She's such a beautiful baby. Can't wait till we decide when we are going to have us a baby.

Tori: Awww, she got mommy fever. (Giggles )

Sidney:  I mean look at her beautiful mother, and then Promise your just beautiful yourself so your baby will be sexy.  (Giggle)

Me: Yeah maybe when Nevaeh turn one we could try having one ourselves.

    Promise smiled so big and came and gave me a hug and kiss. I swear she's all I want to  make happy. I plan on having another group dinner at my restaurant I manage and propose to her. It will be beautiful. I told Sidney about it. I hope she didn't tell Tori cause since Tori and Promise are best friends now Tori ruins every secret sadly, her nosey party opportunity head ass. Promise went back in the living room with the baby and started to play with her. Tori was done with her cooking part, so she went in the living room to. I was done as well but decided to talk to the best.

Me:  Dang she's really ready to have a baby.

Sidney:  Almost every REAL woman is ready for kids. She's actually been doing a Good job with Nevaeh.

Me: Yes she is. It's amazing.

Sidney:  Beautiful thing to see.

Me: I'm just light way worried about when my baby grow up if it's a girl.

Sidney: Why?

Me: Because I don't want her to feel like she doesn't have any choice but to be gay. Just because she have two mother's.

Sidney: Don't even think about it like that because as she get older she's going to see boys.

Me: Ehhhh, I guess..  

    The food was all done. We all sat done and ate. I didn't say anything cause my mind was still stuck on the whole baby thing. It started to make my head hurt a little so I got up and took my plate and put it in the frig. I know Promise knew something was on my mind cause she always would have this stare she would give Me. Therefore I just ignored it and went in my room and layed down and went to sleep. Feeling like I shouldn't have ignored her gesture because that turned in to a argument....
