Days passed. Kurt was assigned to an advanced level class, with older guys and noone from the group, while Blaine went into a lower level class.
They started to talk more often and embarrassing silences were over. They both thought that maybe there was more than a chance of becoming friends.
It was Friday. Four days before returning home.
The plan for the day was going to a museum.
"So guys, walk around in groups and don't lose any member" said Mr.Schue on the bus. "Organize them quickly, we're going to arrive in 5 minutes"
Kurt, Blaine, Chandler and other three guys decided to stay together in a group.
As they reached the museum, their group, that was the smallest, split up. Without realizing it, Kurt and Blaine were lonely.
"Well, let's take a look" said Kurt.
"Sure" replied Blaine.
They soon discovered that it was an interactive museum and the child in Kurt brought Blaine all over to find other games.
"Please, can we play this?" begged Kurt at almost every game.
Blaine laughed every time, he liked that side of his friend, and he liked playing games too, even if he wouldn't admit it to anyone else.
"Look at this" said Kurt when they reached a spinning wheel with little drawings that seemed all the same at first.
"It's the camera concept, you spin and look inside this little holes to see the final result."
"Wow" replied Kurt, and standing on his knees he started spinning the wheel.
All the drawings became a walking horse.
He turned his head to Blaine. Their eyes met for a while, they looked at each other for a long minute.
Wow, thought Blaine, he's cute, and that look, he was enthusiastic, his eyes, his beautiful blue eyes were shining.
"There's another game there!" Shouted Kurt running to another machine.
Blaine stayed behind, looking at him, and smiling.
What was happening to him? He wasn't afraid anymore. Everything, at that time, in that place, seemed right. Not a doubt in his mind. All of a sudden he looked at Kurt with new eyes. Here he was. Beside that fierce, proud guy there was a boy like him. He was not only a paragon, but he could be a friend, or something more. If he just knew what to do.
They suddenly met the others of their group.
"Oh, there you are. This museum is amazing" Said Kurt, opening his arms and taking a deep breath, as he wanted to inhale the happy atmosphere of that afternoon. He had so much fun with Blaine. He discovered another side of him, the real him. And he wanted to see more.
"Did you try the game right here?" Chandler asked Kurt.
"No! Where is it?" Said Kurt, enthusiastically.
"Come with me!" Replied he. While he was following Chandler, Kurt automatically turned around to see if Blaine was coming with them.
But he wasn't. No problem, he'd just miss a game.
