What was the point in all of that? In chasing a straight boy, again. Been there, done that.
Could he define that new feeling as love or was he just confused? And was it considered love even if unrequited?
Would he ever find someone right for him? He didn't ask for much, just someone to put him in the first place, to be somebody's first thought in the morning, the reason for them to wake up and to smile, he just wanted to be loved. But it seemed like he was only able to fall for impossible guys.
Kurt thought as he was rapidly descending the stairs.
The thrill of this new emotion was mixed with panic and unsureness. What would Blaine do if he found out that he had feelings for him? Would he tell the whole school, making him the laughingstock of Lima's freshmen or would he just get along with it?
He arrived at the hall. Blaine begged him to come to the movie night with him, to protect him from Tina, even though he wanted to avoid his company as much as possible.
He entered the room: there were just two people besides him, Blaine and Chandler. Kurt took a deep breath and put on his best smile.
Both of the guys looked at him, Blaine with his big brown puppy eyes, hoping that he would understand what he was feeling from the sparkle in his eyes and not exepting him to confess him. Chandler looked at him in a similar way, though he was just waiting for a moment alone with Kurt.
But Kurt was looking at Blaine with such fondness, Chandler understood the situation. He didn't have the loving look you can see in movies, but you could tell from the way he aimed at the guy's company, the stronger bond the two were building over the days, the huge smile on Kurt's face whenever Blaine sat next to him or called his name. And Chandler was ready to fight for Kurt.
Blaine had waited for that moment all day long. Just seeing Kurt made him happier than everything, he wasn't scared anymore. He just hoped they were friends, then he would text him without feeling strange.
"Hey Kurt, come here" Chandler called the chestnut haired guy, showing him a karaoke application on the computer. "Do you think we could use it?" Chandler looked at Blaine angrily, this was now a war. And he was determined not to lose it. But Blaine was clueless about it, he didn't realize Kurt looked at him in the same way he looked at him.
Kurt got up and went to Chandler. Again he had that childish look on his face, the same he had at the museum, the sparkle in his eyes when he saw something exciting.
His innocence was the thing that Blaine liked the most, he never saw that behavior in someone older than 8 years old. He got excited over the littlest things and all his body would express pure joy, he wasn't childish, though. He could express the most mature of feelings, but he was pure, like the world only barely touched him, leaving a bad taste in his mouth, but making him see the good things in life.
The only thing Blaine was sure of was that Kurt was one of a kind and he couldn't allow the grief of the world to ruin that genuine human being. He didn't care if he would be the one to make him happy, he just wanted him to be forever like this.
