Blaine A.: Hi
Simple, plain hi. So why was his whole body trembling in excitement? In his head the picture of a smile. A wide smile, pure as snow, featuring not only his rosey lips, but mainly his eyes. The image was almost complete, everything was so clear in Kurt's mind, just like a photograph: his cheeks, his eyebrows, his hair. That hair always filled with gel, but at the end of the end of the day it would start to curl behind his ears.
"It's awful" he could remember the shorter guy complaining one evening and trying to straighten it "Damn" he slightly blushed in embarrassement.
"It's cute" Kurt told him. He wish he didn't. He could feel the blood flushing in his cheeks and his pale complexion turning bright red. Rationally there wasn't nothing wrong in complimenting someone. But he couldn't help but wish he could turn back time and stop himself.
Why was he texting him? How was he supposed to reply?
He fantasized so much about the eventuality that Blaine could like him back, even if he didn't think it would ever happen, he programmed every possible scenario, and yet he was becoming paranoid over a response.
He stared at the phone for hours, hoping for the perfect answer to come, but it didn't seem to come.
There was a time where everything seemed fine, not so long ago. He had two amazing best friends, good grades, if not awesome ones and Anderson was just a guy he didn't want to worry about anymore.
Now he was alone. Completely, scaringly alone. Him against the world.
He could feel the whole world crushing around him, unable to do anything about it. He had only cried before but that day he started screaming as loud as he could, his lungs wanted everyone to listen to his frustration. He was unable to keep a friend or a brother or to tell Blaine about his feelings, he wasn't even the son his dad wished for.
Did such a person ever exist? Someone as bad as him? Someone as useless?
His pain was now leaving his body and flowing in his voice. He fell down, his legs weak, his hands trembling, and tears finally started streaming down his face. Despite the noises he made noone was there, he was alone, once again.
He crawled up on the floor, tears wetting the carpet. He closed his eyes. If he only could disappear.
