What is this feeling (part 1)

Kurt woke up at the chirp of the birds outside his window, a warm light had filled the room and the reflection of the trees shaken by the wind was painted on the white wall in front of his bed. The small room started feeling more like home, despite the cramped bathroom and the uncomfort of the claustrophobic corridor.

He carelessly checked his phone and it was just after a few minutes browsing that he realized his late. He was an hour behind his morning schedule and was supposed to reach class in thirty minutes. He got dressed as far as he could, throwing his entire wardrobe on the bed searching for something that could match, skipped his moisturizing and ran to the cafeteria, had breakfast in two minutes and almost choked on his coffee. Breathless, he reached his class, only a minute after the lesson had begun.

Kurt didn't get a single word out of the entire three hour long lesson, his mind was elsewhere, focused on getting every detail that could clear up the situation, he didn't need much, just something that would help him understand. He made a list of pros and cons of Blaine, and the much he focused on cons the more they seemed irrelevant. And every sentence he said that upset him was blurred, and replaced by a soft smile of his.

How could he get over that smile? His lips parted partially in a soft curve and let uncovered some of his white teeth, there was no overconfidence, or arrogance in that smile; and he couldn't sort it out of his mind; the way his eyes would shine brightly and accentuate the movement of his mouth, and all his body would just convey gleefulness.

His thoughts were interrupted at the deafening rang of the bell that announced the break. He waited for everyone to get out and then walked slowly to get coffee, hoping that that would wake him up a little.

"Mocha latte as usual?" a familiar suave voice made him jumpscare. He turned to see that smile that hadn't abandoned him since the day before.

"How do" Kurt was staring at Blaine in surprise "How do you know my coffee order?" he smiled slightly, hoping for a response that he knew wouldn't come.

"You, you always order the same one, it's not that difficult" Blaine replied, embarrassed. And winked. He would always wink when he was nervous, and he knew in that situation it could only make the situation worse, he could have scared Kurt, or worse.

Of course it didn't mean anything. Kurt thought. He remembered a lot of random things himself, there was no need to be that astonished by a coffee order. It was just the power of observation.

Kurt got his coffee and pored at Blaine before heading to class again, he was looking back at him. Just coincidence. He had to remind himself. Just coincidence.

Going shopping wasn't exactly what Kurt was in the mood for right now, he just wanted to stay alone with his thoughts, sort out his feelings, listen to music and have a nice walk in the park. And shopping with boys, and with Blaine, was just the worst. He was dragged into a cheesy souvenirs shop where Kurt observed everything in disgust and when he got out, Chandler was waiting for him.

"Where are the others?" Kurt's tone was nothing but annoyed; maybe he didn't want to avoid Blaine's company and surely he wasn't willing to spend an afternoon with the blondish boy, to be overwhelmed by his constant compliments.

"Gone" Chandler replied, smiling wide.

"What? Gone? You have been out there all this time, couldn't you stop them?" the chestnut haired guy was now really angry. Chandler was going too far and he didn't like it; hurting his feelings didn't seem the best thing to do either; so he just stormed off, walking anxiously in the street, hoping to spot Blaine somewhere. But he was nowhere to be seen.

"They didn't want to wait anymore" Chandler lied. He wanted to be alone with Kurt. But he didn't realize Sam was still in the shop.

"What ya doing?" he asked, reaching them.

Damn it Chandler thought.

Kurt, really mad at Chandler for letting Blaine go somewhere else, was already thinking about a revenge.

He took the lead and brought them to the mall.

The guys didn't seem to mind. Sam was too focused on his phone and Chandler was too focused on admiring Kurt. Always so perfect, his chestnut hair styled with grace, his striking blue eyes, his porcelain complex. He watched his body with desire, but there was more than that. He admired his intelligence, the courage he had to stand in the crowd, the way he talked and the way he would look outside the window with a distracted expression, like he was constantly aiming to fly outside, in the bright sky.

Author's note: Sorry I didn't upload for months, but since this story is based on a real life experience I didn't really want to think about it anymore, but the response to this was so good I decided to continue. Please let me know what you think in the comments!
