At seven I got into the shower to get the sleep from my eye from a well needed nap. Or the fact that my hair looked like a rat's nest. Rinsing it I got out putting my hair up in a neat but also kind of a messy bun. Wrapping a fluffy red towel around myself I put Karley on the phone seeing it was only seven fifteen.
"Hey girl!" she yelled over the phone. "No not you Sofia"
"Hey uh how fast can you get over here" I looked at my clothes.
"I'd have to bring Sofia but I can get there in five minutes flat" Karley made muffling noises. "why?"
"Party and I don't have a clue what to wear."
"I'll be there in three"
So while Sofia stuffed her face with ice-cream Karley had picked out the perfect outfit for me. Shorts that where way too short for my liking and a long sleeve black and white striped shirt.
"Hot" Karley said before dropping a pair of black flip-flops in front of me.
"Thank you" I finished my hair and put the flip-flops on.
"ok its 8 so me and Sofia will be going" she winked at me which I shrugged off with an eye roll.
Karley took Sofia home as I saw two empty tubs of ice-cream on my counter.
"Faith!" I looked and saw her look quickly from the laundry room.
"Yes ma'am?" she came over quickly.
"Clean the kitchen please" light came through the windows as a car pulled in.
"Of course lady" I made my way out to the car.
"Hey" I got in as Alex laughed a little.
"You look great Raven" he pulled out of the driveway.
"Not too bad yourself"

Next chapter is the party sorry that this one was short but I'm trying to figure out what to do about the party!
