what should've happened... Jacob and Bella's love story

Bridesmaid

It was one o'clock in the afternoon and I was sitting in Jacob's garage waiting for him to get home. He arrived exactly two minutes after one. 

"Bella." Jacob said adoringly, as he walked through the door.

"My love." I answered with emotion dripping off every syllable.

Jacob smiled at me when I said that, and in two quick strides he was in front of me, caressing my face, and bent down to kiss me. As always, it got heated. And as always, it ended too soon. Thats when we heard Billy yell from the house.

"Bella! Someone is on the phone for you!" He yelled. 

That caught our attention, so we left the garage and walked towards the house. As I passed in front of Jacob, he quickly slapped my butt. I didn't even stop, but I did turn to glare like I didn't like it. When he and I both knew, I did. What was I going to do with him?  I thought as I entered my second home. I walked over to the phone smiling and picked it up expecting Charlie to be on the other end.

"Dad?" I said.

"No Bella, sorry! Its Emily... er... Sam's fiancé" She said in an unsure voice as if I didn't know her voice by the sound of it.

"Oh! Emily, of course I know who you are! How are you?" I answered with honest surprise in my voice. 

Jacob looked at me with curiosity, because even though I knew Emily, we have only talked a couple of times. However, I did think of her as a friend. Emily was a great listener and also a great companion. Her and I became quite close, very fast, but we never had time to hang out. I was with Jacob and she was with Sam. 

"Im fine! Better than fine, actually, but I was calling to ask you a favor." She replied sweetly.

"What is it?" I answered with curiosity seeping out of every pore.

"I know we barely know each other, but I honest to God consider you a close friend and you don't have to if you don't want to... but I was wondering if you would be one of my bridesmaids? And also help me plan my wedding?" She asked with a pleading voice.

I was so shocked and so honored that I didn't answer.

"Bella... you don't have to if you don't want to." She quickly added misinterpreting my pause.

"No! Oh my God, Emily! I would be so honored to do that for you! I would love to be your bridesmaid and of course I will help you plan your wedding!" I answered happily.

I was so happy she thought of me that way! Before this phone call, I was thinking that the only way I was going to this wedding was because I was with Jacob and now Jacob could come to the wedding because of me! (And Sam but I decided to be self-loving for a moment.)

"Thats great Bella!! Why don't you come over in a little while and we will start planning. I want it to be Winter Wonderland themed since Christmas is right around the corner!" 

What? Christmas is right around the corner? Jeez, I need to pay more attention to the calendar. I looked over at Billy's clock that held the date and no kidding, Christmas was one month away. 

"I'll be there! Can Jacob come?" I asked.

"Of course, if we are going to talk girl stuff, I think Sam would need a friend there to help out!" She laughed on the other end.

"Perfect! See you in a bit!" I said laughing along with her.

"Alright! See you!" She answered before we hung up.

I turned to see Jacob smiling at me. I was sure he had heard the entire conversation and was just as happy about it as I was.

"Im a bridesmaid!!!" I yelled as I ran into Jacob's open arms.

"Yep and I'm a groomsmen." He answered.

He cut me off before I could start about how he didnt tell me, but then he told me he was going to after I hung up. Because I was so excited, we made it to Emily and Sam's house, across the reserve, in record time. 

"Emily!" I yelled as I entered her house. 

"Bella!" She answered and ran up to hug me. 

We were both so excited, we couldn't get the smiles off of our faces. 

"What did I sign up for?" I heard Jacob say behind me.

I turned and smiled as kindly and as wickedly I could.

"December is now our month. The girls. You will do as we ask and be nice," I answered "that goes for you too Sam." I knew he was listening. 

Emily laughed and agreed with me and I heard Sam come up from behind us.

"It's always been like that. What makes this month of us listening to you guys any different?" Sam said as he smirked. 

"True!" Jacob answered.

They laughed, making the house rumble.

"Now lets get out of here before we actually have to do something." Jacob said with a dramatic representation on fear on his face.

Jacob bent down and kissed me passionately, Sam did the same with Emily.  

"We'll be outside, Your Graces." Sam said laughing.

Emily and I turned to look at each other with pure looks of excitement and before we knew it, we had color schemes, notebooks, drawing books and coffee in front of us. We got to work. This was going to be the best wedding anyone has ever had on the reserve. 

A/N 

I united Emily and Bella because I always thought that they would have made a really good friendship. And I hope you guys think so as well. 

Bella! Bridesmaid! Enough said. 

I feel that even though Bella would never admit it, the Cullens lefts a mark on Bella. Alice isnt there anymore so the party planning was left to her. I think that signifies a strong sense of acceptance for ones past. 

I also decided to sweeten up the relationship between Jacob and Sam because without Edward, Renesmee never existed. So Jacob imprinted on Bella and the pack tensions never happened.

Although its gonna get tense soon. ;) sorry not sorry
