Brendon and I were just watching tv while Spencer was on the phone. I wasn't really paying attention, until I heard Brendon shout at Spencer, which was kind of funny actually. After that, I zoned back into the tv until I heard a name I could never forget.
"Is it Dallon?" Brendon asked.
"Yeah," Spencer said.
"Sure," Brendon said, smiling a fake smile.
After that, Spencer and Brendon went back and forth about something and Brendon finally retreated to the guest room. I waited a few more minutes before I opened my mouth.
"W-Was that Dallon?" I asked.
"Yeah," Spencer said.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"Just filling me in about his life and whatnot," he said. "I wanted to see what was up with him."
"That's cool," I said.
"You want to talk to him, don't you?" he asked as he laughed.
"Actually, yeah," I said. "I need to apologize to him for what I did. Just because Brendon forgave me, doesn't mean Dallon will."
"I'm sure he'll talk to you," Spencer said. "And I'm sure he'll forgive you too. He's a very forgiving man."
"I really hope so," I said.
After a few more minutes, I figured Brendon walked out of the room because I could somewhat hear what he was saying.
"Sounds good," Brendon said. "Yeah. Want to talk to him?"
My heart stopped and Brendon walked into the living room. He smiled and gave me the phone.
"Someone wants to talk to you," he said.
"I'm nervous," I said.
"It'll be ok," Brendon said as he laughed.
"I sure hope so," I said as I got up and walked down the hall to the guest room.
I sat on the bed and composed myself before I spoke.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hey Ryan!" Dallon said, sounding cheerful. "How have you been?"
"Um, I've been pretty good," I said. "You?"
"Really good!" he said. "I got married and I have a baby on the way."
"Aw, congrats, Dal," I said.
"So guess what, Ry," he said.
"What?" I asked as I laughed.
"I'm probably coming down by you guys sometime next week," he said.
"Seriously?" I asked.
"Yeah. I m-miss you guys," he said.
"Y-You do?" I asked.
"Yeah, I mean I know what happened between all of us, but that's the past and I want to move on," he said.
"I do too," I said. "I still feel terrible about what I did. I am really sorry, Dal."
"I forgive you," he said. "I can't wait to see you all again."
"Same here," I said as I smiled.
"So, I'll see you guys next week?" Dallon asked.
"Yeah," I said. "See you then."
"Bye Ry," he said.
"Bye Dal," I said.
I hung up and smiled. Once I calmed myself, I walked back out into the living room. Brendon and Spencer smiled at me.
"What?" I asked as I laughed and gave Spencer his phone back.
"You're excited aren't you?" Brendon asked.
"Maybe a little," I said.
"Why?" Spencer asked.
"Dallon is coming down here next week to visit all of us," I said.
"Holy crap, seriously?!" Spencer asked.
"You didn't tell him?" I asked Brendon as I laughed.
"Nope," Brendon said as he began to laugh as well.
"Fuck you Bden," Spencer said.
"You know you love me," Brendon said.
"True, true," Spencer said.
All of us talked for a while longer about everything and about Dallon. I really did miss him and I know there's no future for us, but I still liked him and those feelings would never go away. I'm sure Brendon still felt the same too, and if something happened between the two of them, I wasn't going to fuck it up again. I've learned a few lessons in the past few years or so. I'm a new Ryan Ross.
