Chapter 13

(E.j's pov.)
Jeff ran over to the side of the bed and started shaking her. "What happened?! Did you let her do this?!?" He yelled at me. I started to give Alex cpr. I felt her pulse, nothing. I have to do mouth to mouth... I put my mouth on hers and automatically got pulled away by Jeff. I slapped him and he tackled me to the ground, I shoved him off and went back to Alex. I picked her up and ran into my room with her, I set her down on my bed and got out supplies. I stitched her arm up and called for slender. He teleported and I said "She's dead.. We need to bring her back.." He nodded and said "Get out of the room, I have to do a ritual. It can be very dangerous. Lock the door on your way out." I ran out the door while locking it and Jeff came up to me, he looked mad. He pinned me to the ground and put his thumbs on the center of my throat. I kneed his stomach and shoved him down the stairs, he went tumbling but got back up. I heard the mansion shaking, like an earthquake. Things were rattling and shaking. Then it stopped, I looked up the stairs and Jeff sneaked up on me from behind. He sat on my stomach so I couldn't get up, he got out his knife and said "No wonder your face was covered by a mask. It needs a touch up." He said while grinning evilly. I squirmed around and he put the knife to my cheek, I felt the cold metal dig into my skin, I felt blood running down my face while I was screaming, I kneed his back and he fell forward. I got up and touched my face then looked at my hand. Yep, definitely blood. Jeff charged at me and I punched his cheek. He stumbled back but got back up, he pinned me to a wall and put the knife to me neck. "YOU LET HER DO THIS DIDN'T YOU?!" He yelled, "NO. SHE CAUGHT YOU CHEATING!" I spat in his face. He dug the knife deeper into my neck, slicing open the tissue. He got slammed into the wall behind him, Slender was there. The knife left my throat and I grabbed my neck. I felt the blood running down my hands. It wasn't deep but I could surely bleed to death. I ran up to my room and bandaged my neck, I looked over at Alex and felt her pulse. She was alive, but unconscious. I cleaned up the blood on her and pushed away the hair that was in her face. I went to go find another mask, I found one and put it on. I got a wet tissue and wiped off Alex's face, she had a bruise on her cheek and a slit. I touched it gently and she stirred. I took my hand away and went out of my room. Slender was yelling at Jeff and some of the pastas were down there watching and listening. Including Kat. My eyebrows furrowed as I saw her. I looked outside. It was getting dark. I decided to go to bed. I went into my room and locked my door, so nobody can come in. I got a pillow and a blanket out of the closet and set them on the floor. I lied down and took my mask off. And drifted off to sleep.

**Time Skip**

I woke up to voices downstairs and got up, I changed my clothes and checked on Alex. I put my mask back on and sighed while I made my way downstairs. I got to the bottom of the steps, Jeff and L.j were yelling at each other. L.j noticed me come down the stairs and looked at me. "Dude what happened?" He asked while he came up to me. "Jeff, jeff happened." I growled while glaring at Jeff. He smirked and I walked outside. I sat against a tree and got lost in my own thoughts.

(Alex's pov.)
My eyes rolled to the back of my head and I saw myself in pitch darkness. There was a light, I went towards it. I stopped at the edge of it and smiled to myself. It's over. Finally over. I went to take my last step but something pulled me back into the darkness. The light went further and further away, then a deep voice said "Not Today. It's not your time."
I turned away from the light, I saw the outside world. E.j was sleeping on the floor and I was in his bed. I turned towards the light and went towards it. It got closer and closer, I stepped into the light. I felt a weight come off my shoulders. The weight of the world. I thought. I closed my eyes. This is it, the moment you dreamed of. A voice said. The weight fell back down on my shoulders, almost causing me to collapse. I held myself up and closed my eyes. I opened them and the light was gone. Nowhere to be seen. I was no longer in it. But in complete darkness. I fell to my knees. Looking in every direction for the light. Where is it?! Tears fell down my cheeks and dripped onto my legs. I felt my body start to tingle. And jolted upright in the bed. I breathed heavily, E.j was no longer in the room. I got up and walked out of the room. I looked down at my arm, there were stitches. I got to the edge of the staircase. I saw L.j and Jeff fighting. I felt something inside me break. I held myself back and breathed slowly. I stood there watching them and I saw E.j come inside the mansion. I looked at him, remembering me breaking his mask. He had a bandage around his neck and it had a line of blood on it. E.j went into the kitchen and Jeff looked directly at me. I felt my eye twitch and he ran up to me and hugged me. "Alex.. I was so worried-" he started but I cut him off. "Don't even try. I know what you and Kat did the other night. No need for excuses. I loved you. You broke my heart. So you are now officially a piece of my life that is not needed anymore." I pushed him aside and headed to the kitchen, "Alex, I can explain." He said, "Then you better start." I growled, I turned around and he continued. "Something about Kat is off, she made me feel like a different person. I wouldn't cheat on you Alex.." I rolled my eyes and he started to yell "You were cuddling with E.j. What's your excuse" "I was sick and sad thanks to YOU" I screamed at him. I turned around and continued my way to the kitchen, he grabbed my shoulder and I turned around and smacked him. I left a red handprint on his face and  he shoved me against a wall. He pinned my arms to the wall, he started to kiss me and I started squirming, I couldn't move because he literally had me pinned to the wall. He kissed down to my neck and gave me hickies. I turned my head away and he pulled away. "Come on babe, you like it." He said smirking. I have to admit, I did kinda like it.. Kat did seem off when she came, it's like she hypnotized the boys.. Targeting Jeff mostly.. Jeff started to kiss me more and ran his hand up my shorts, I smacked it away and he tugged on the hem of them. Don't let him! He cheated on you remember?! I pushed him away and wiped my mouth, I went to the kitchen and found E.j nibbling on a kidney. He looked up and me and dropped it. He ran up to me and hugged me tightly. I hugged him back and he whispered in my ear "I won't let you die Alex. I won't." I felt butterflies in my stomach. Am I falling for another guy? But E.j's different from Jeff.. "I want to talk to you alone. Away from.. Them" he said looking at Jeff and L.j. We went out the mansion doors and into the forest. "Alex.. Why'd you do that..?" He said, I realized what he was talking about.. "I couldn't take it anymore.. I wanted to end it all.. I want it to end and to be over with. I want to be free.." I said looking down. "Alex.. We all feel that way at some point.. But that's why we need to be strong and get through it.." He said, I nodded and felt my eyes sting with tears. E.j pushed me up against a tree and whispered "I love you.. And I don't want to lose you.." He lifted up his mask slightly and kissed me. He pulled away and looked down. "S-sorry.." He said, and with that he went back to the mansion. I was there alone in shock. I chased after him and said "E.j.. Look at me" he ignored me and walked faster. He went inside the mansion and into his room, I followed him and he shut and locked his door before I could get in, my eyebrows furrowed and I went back downstairs. Jeff looked at me and smirked. "What was that all about?" He said coming up to me, "None of your business." I said back, he got closer to me and lifted my face so I could look into his eyes, I glared at him. "Now don't be like that." He said pushing me up against a wall. Oh god not again.. I turned my head away from him and he kissed my neck, I shut my eyes and he kissed my lips. I felt my own piercings touch my skin. I tried to push him away but he was too strong. I whimpered and he stopped, then went back to kissing me. I felt tears running down my cheeks. It went onto his face but he ignored it. He bit my lip slightly and I winced. He slid his hands up my shorts and I felt the tears fall out harder. I slid down to the floor, my back was still against the wall. Jeff came down with me and he pulled away. "S-stop it.. P-please.." I choked out. He picked me up and I started squirming around. He ignored me and he went in my room with me. He locked the door and set me on the bed, I scrambled off the bed into a corner. I cried silently and he came over to me. I wrapped myself in my arms and cried into my knees. He lifted my head up and said "Babe, come on.." I hiccuped and looked at him. He was all blurry because of my tears and he picked me up again and lied me on the bed. He had my arms pinned down so I couldn't do anything, I kneed his back because he was on top of me. He didn't even flinch.. I got out of his grip and shoved him to the wall. He got up and there was a crack in the wall. He came back over to me and I screamed at him "YOU CHEATED ON ME! LEAVE ME ALONE! GO DO THIS TO KAT OR SOMETHING!" He  shoved me against the wall and grabbed my neck. I scratched at his hands and felt my throat swelling. I started choking and everything went black.
