Going Our Seperate Ways

Fateful Encounter (Part 1)

They began freshmen year together and by the time summer came they had all gone their separate ways. It has now been 2 years and they're just beginning their junior year.

-At the Matthews Apartment-

Cory:No

Riley:Why not?

Cory:because I say so

Riley:mom can you please help me out here

Topanga: cory just let her go its just a highschool party

Cory:Topanga do you remember what highschool parties are like?

Topanga:I do Cory...but I also know how Riley is and I trust her to do the right thing don't you?

Cory takes a minute to think and looks at Riley 

Cory:Fine...you can go

Riley*smiles and shouts*:thank you dad 

She hugs him then runs to her room grabs her phone and messages Lucas with the news as soon as she can

Riley:he said yes

Lucas:thats great Riley its the biggest party of the year and only juniors and seniors are allowed to go

Riley:my first highschool party i can't wait

Lucas:me neither text you when I'm on my way

Riley: okay 

Just then Riley heard her father calling her from the kitchen.

Riley: yeah dad?

Cory:seeing as how important going to this party means to I will only allow you to go one condition 

Riley:whats that

Just then Riley turns around as someone opens the door and she realizes just what the condition is

Riley:I thought you trusted my judgement 

Cory:I do but you can never be to careful you wont even know he's there and plus dont forget you crashed his party once 

Josh:yeah but dont worry I'll stay out of your hair once we're there

Riley:really?

Josh:really

Riley breathes a heavy sigh knowing that this was the only way her father would let her go. She hoped Lucas wouldn't mind. After she told her father she agreed to the condition she went back to her room and told Lucas of what had just happened.

Lucas:thats okay I get it 

Riley:thanks

Lucas:see you later then

[4 hours later]

*Knock Knock*Door opens

Lucas:wow riley you look nice

Riley:thanks Lucas you do too

Josh:hey 

Lucas:hi *for some reason after seeing josh for a split second he remembered Maya*

Riley:shall we get going

Boys:yeah

.

.

-At the Party-

The trio have just arrived 

Josh:well I'm gonna go and leave you two alone now meet back here? 

Riley:sounds good to me 

And with that josh leaves..

(In joshs mind:well i got to hand to them they sure know how to throw a party)

???:Dreamboat is that you?

Josh turns around and shows a confused face 

???:Well judging by the expression I'm guessing you don't remember me ...it's me ...Smackle 

Josh:oh yeah from the ski lodge trip freshmen year wow i didn't think a party was your thing

Smackle:it isnt i dont understand the need for these but my mom said I should at least attend one before highschool was over

Josh:where is everyone else

Smackle:oh i came alone 

Josh:well ....hope you have fun 

Smackle:thanks I'll try 

He walks away but turns to wave goodbye once more before he's out of sight. Riley and Lucas decided to hit the dance floor just as her favorite song came on. Josh didn't know anybody so he decided to go for a walk around the block. Then just as he turned the curb he bumped into somebody. Josh:sorry man

???:its cool better me than my girl

Girl:aww 

Josh:well sorry about that dude *just as he turns to leave he notices something familiar about him but rubs it off and continues his walk*
