Unmoving, the tiger continued to stare at me.

Things happened very quickly before and in the time of our silence, I took it to look back at what happened.

A plane caught fire and crashed in the forest. Thank luck in the air that it passed off of me, but where could it come from? It was close to me for me to still be in the blast zone though. Most important thing though...I was saved. My savior the tiger...

The tiger's eyes shined for a slight moment after his new grin. "I spared you once Birdy. Don't expect me to do it agian. Do you know why I brought you to my...abode."

A lousy smelling, echoed room was a home to him. I pity him. In his world, everything must be second rate.

"No," I whispered getting to his question. "You wanted me to help you with decorating." In his cave, the only decoration on the walls were the countless claw marks.

"Look city kitty, tell me from which island you dwell from."

"Why?" I hissed as I stood up weakly.

"So that I may dump your half eaten carcass there so your family can stop looking for you."

Gruesome as that was I snickered to divert the threat and streched out my left paw. In the dirt of the bottom of the cave. I drew a couple and connected them. Once I finsihed a flinched as a sharp pain my front right leg. In the ground I spelled Blodgett, Grant Town.

The tiger looked over the words and tried to comprehend them. "What is that scratch you just drew?"

I straightened up not knowing what he ment. "What do you mean? It says Blodgett, Grant Town. You can't read it?"

The tiger growled, "I'm in a jungle, why would I read tourist guides!"

I snarled back and swiped through the air. "Back off George! No one cares about you being anything to a jungle!" I faced toward the narrow mouth of the cave and began to limp towards it.

"You leave and I kill you."

I spun around and arched my back. "You yell at me agian and I kill you!"

The tiger stared at me and purred. "Little Birdy, I might like you after all. Tell me what your name is."

I sat down and tilted my head. "Erin, call me Erin."

The tiger grunted, "I asked you for your name, not what you call yourself. When you figure out tell me."

The tiger turned away and yawned. He went into the deeper part of his cave and looked back a me. "By the way Birdy, my name's Rionar. Welcome to the Tiger's Den."
