"ALEX!" Lya screamed.
Immediately, Oliver fell to the ground as weightless as I did.
"Erilye?" His green eyes watched me delicately and his hand found my face. "I will always love you. In this form, or the next."
In Oliver chest, rested his own weapon, murder-suicide.
He tried so hard...warn before. Now he just wanted to leave. Was it worth it Oliver?
Somehow I imagined him answer, Yes.
I shifted as I watched the ceiling run over me and a quick manor. My stomach oozed with cold substance colored red.
Everything around me, everything screamed and cried. The walls went from upkept to forgotten in seconds. All of the paintings lost their beauty.
There were multiple loud crashing sounds coming from all around. They were accompanied by angry shouts and roars of brutalist men.
"Bataeus!"
But there were two constant noises near me. One man and one girl.
"Take her to the tomb, hurry!" the voice got closer. "Stop! Rip the dress. Come on!"
A hand laid on crest of my chest. It was warm to start, but it turned to be burning hot and then freezing cold. I could hardly look up to see who was with me.
"Run, now!"
"Lye," the small female voice whispered. "Please, please do not go to sleep."
The wound I had, I could not feel anymore. My lungs desperately struggled to get air.
The roof turned black abruptly and we began to descend a long winding case of stairs that led straight into the mouth of the snake.
With our echoed pattern, I heard others with more.
"More are coming Bataeus, do you know how to open the door?"
Bataeus.
"Miss Lya, no has been able to."
I opened my wide and shook from the strong man's grasp. "The tomb."
A bold stone wall sat in front of us. Just like before, the door was crowded my treasure. In the air a haunting sense droned.
I laid a hand on the stone door and pushed. The door held in place. "Coyote." I put two hands on the door and pushed. This time the door slid back quickly and provided a small crack. "Coyote!" The door slid back again.
"Move Lye!" a small furry object rammed into my legs causing me to nearly fall.
In that time, a spear flew overhead and nailed the big brute man next to me in the core of his neck.
The tomb door flew open and a black vine coiled around him and pulled him into the darkness.
I bent down and eyed the enemy wall behind. I grabbed for the small creature and threw it inside the tomb. Then without the touching it, the door slammed shut behind us.
A wicked laughter filled the core of the tomb. We followed it to a study where two seats laid their backs to us.
"Coyote?"
The man in the right chair turned around and stood up with a surprised look. "Well, you made it? Shame, I had money on your death." Coyote grimaced right before he sneezed.
