Everyone scrambled from the room except the old one in the center.

He stood up and wiped his grey brow. "Erilye, you have damned us all with some little honor you try to keep." I walked for the door, "I am your say so. A war against the Montregons would be disastrous on our part. Alex has even shaken at their numbers. Our country shall fall because of you."

I waved the old man away. "I am not yours at all-."

"As your father, you are mine. You are of the age to which I decide what happens to you. You will marry the brother and you will give peace to this land."

"Forget this land geezer, no one has any rule over me!"

I stormed out of the room and rushed down the hall into door that led into a garden. I knew the two were there.

Crystal and Marcilo were waiting on me with hungry eyes.

"Look who's afraid now!" Marcilo smiled.

"What have you done," I snarled.

Crystal shrugged his shoulders. "It's much too late little girl. Our boys will be over the hill in minutes."

"We both already made our wish too."

Crystal elbowed Marcilo and cocked his head. "What will you do now? You think that dog can help you?"

"Dog?"

"We aren't stupid."

I found my bravery and grinned. "I could kill you both, right now." On the other side of the garden lurked the ally I needed.

Marcilo laughed and glanced at Crystal in a sudden frown. "My life-."

I jumped back as a full figure of a Bengal tiger shot into the scene and ultimately beheaded Marcilo in seconds.

Crystal shot back at stared wide eyed at the corpse now gushing of blood. "Marcilo..." He then glared up at the tiger and shook violently.

"Rionar," I whispered ushering him to move, but they both stayed in place.

"I swear vengeance. On Marcilo's life! LONG LIVE!" a black link of light connected between the still two. "HAVE A LIFE SO ETERNAL SO THAT I MAY TORTURE YOU THROUGH THE CENTURIES!"

Rionar changed back into his clothed form and sat on his legs. His eyes filled with the color of black, like Crystal, and then both suddenly exploded into the air.

Not a trace left behind.

"Rionae?" I went forward and lost smell of him. I turned around to face Alex. His face calm and collective.

"Forget about what just happened, it did not matter on you apparently. Last time, Crystal and Rionar where in the hallway. Now the garden. Come on, the door to the tomb is unprotected. You need to take something from your room however. Anything of the color of black. Rip it or take it out and then meet here."

I nodded.

"Wait!" Alex grasped my shoulder. "Be careful."

I slowly nodded and rushed out of the garden and into the hall.

"Lye!"

As I quickly walked down the hallway Oliver joined my side with a wide grin. "Oliver-."

"I figured out a way for the both of us to be together-."

"Oliver!" I glared at him. "I do not want to be with you! Please stay away from me."

"N-n-no!" Oliver reassuringly smiled. "I can take you away from all this. You don't have to be afraid now, come on." He grabbed my hand and I jerked away.

"I don't like you. Or even love you. Go away!"

Oliver rolled his eyes and straightened. "It'll take a while to complete, but just wait for it my love."

"I don't love you."

Oliver smiled and drew close to my face. I roughly shoved him away continued to walk.

"What are you doing Erilye? I'm right here!"

I turned the corner without looking at Oliver again.

I tore out the closet and bed sheet for something black.

"You are very stupid."

I turned to face a black cat. One that rested on the pillows of the bed without thought. One of a haughty attitude. A black cat with silver eyes.

I dropped the dress I was holding and completely turned to the cat. "Lya?"

The black cat nodded, "you used to call me Raylya, but now everyone calls me Lya." The cat shifted and raised its tail. "You didn't listen to me. Now you will  be doomed. I warned you and I showed you what will happen. The tomb won't even save you!"

I sighed and walked around the bed to a little house in the corner.

"If you would have stayed in present time, Alex wouldn't have killed me again! Now that came back, Rionar has more suffering to endure! You added to his time. You killed Marcilo too. He didn't die before!"

I bent down and picked up a black blanket that was inside of the small house.

"You're a selfish little cat!" Lya shouted. "You could have saved Gunther Rayne. You could have saved me Lye. But you chose self knowledge."

I angrily turned around. "Aren't all quests about knowledge?! Don't people die in every story? I'm going to make it right Lya."

I rushed to the door and Lya suddenly hissed.

I grasped the handle on the door and paused. "I made a mistake. I'm going to fix it, Rayne. I'm going to fix it okay?"

"Erilye..." Lya rasped. "Don't-!"

I opened the door and a glint of light refracted into my eyes. In the second that I blinked, I felt a cold object sheath itself into my upper abdomen.

I slowly look up from the dagger and up, up into the eyes of Oliver.

Oliver held the widest grin. "Now we can be together forever Erilye. I love you."
