As I walked, torches began to illuminate the stretch of walkway of the tomb.

The air got heavier the further I went in. The ground turned into a different type of material that was harder and colder.

"Hey!" I called out to the darkness. "Man! I think I know what I wan-."

"No you don't."

The floor trembled and the walls shook as they moved along the floor blocking off the pathway I had before and creating a new hallway where the wall had been.

"Is this supposed to divert me?" I hissed while turning around. I froze when I saw the way back was now blocked off as well.

"So far away."

"Then come to me!" I dashed to my right and entered an intersection.

Straight, left or right.

"Where are you!"

What did I want to know? I had so many question going through my head. All about this tomb. So many wanted this tomb, but there was nothing in here.

I slowly moved forward and sniffed the air.

To my left it smelled like mud and earth, but at my right it smelled like spices. I went forward a little and caught the unmistakable smell of blood. I went forward.

The straight path yet again led to multiple other paths this time. All with different smells.

"You are wasting my time with your tricks!"

I had no time to stop and smell all the paths. There had to be at least ten here. "I know my question!"

"Do you?"

"Yes-."

"No you don't."

A loud roar filled the air and a ferocious tremor shook the walls with it.

With no time, I dashed down the middle path and took an abrupt left.

I want to know what happened to me. I want to know how I died. I want to know who Crystal Lloyd is and why Leo's group hates him so much. I want to know about the past. No...

The loud roar came again, but this time it was in front of me. I stopped and went back on to the turn where I should have gone right.

Rayne and Gunther... Gunther is dead. Gunther is dead because of me. Rayne...she was supposed to be some key to the tomb. She was only a pawn of this game of Marcilo. The bad guys are winning. Oliver caused this. He caused all of this!

I stopped running and sat down. Myself or Rayne and Gunther? I snarled and laid my head on the ground.

"I know my wish."

"Wishes I can grant. Knowledge I can give."

"Bring me to you."

The walls silently shifted and created a path that went forward until it took a left. Quietly and quickly I followed the new trail of fate.

The blue eyed man sat on top of a bookstand and looked down at me heavily. "You know your wish?"

"Yes," I whispered quietly.

He pulled at his shirt cuffs and threw something toward me. "Greed can kill people you know. I've seen it."

He pushed off of the bookshelf and landed on his feet without sound. He pulled at his puffy pants that stopped a few inches below his knee.

"You know," he whispered bending down to my height, "I know something." He pulled me closer to him and then held me closely to his chest. "Some people and animals and spirits live their entire lives in dreams and curses of their pasts'. It alters their thinking and makes them think that...everything is achievable. Sometimes they're right."

I pushed his hand away gently and looked up at him. "Do you already know my wish?"

"I only grant curses. Just know that your wish will have a curse to it too."

"I know."

The man stood up and wiped his eyes. "Think of your wish completely before you say it."

"Erin?" A far away voice called out.

I turned around and then and watched a spider web fly by on the ground.

I slammed my paw on the ground and turned around to the man.

I opened my mouth and spoke.
