"What help could I give you?"

Rionar glared at me and continued to walked on the path he led. "You can read. Birdy, just know that you don't have any say so in this."

I tried to keep up with the tiger, but once agian he kept going faster. "At least slow down!"

Rionar stopped and turned around to me. Before I could even follow it, Rionar's paw went out and pulled me through his legs. He didn't move after that. He just kept watching the bushes behined him.

I sniffed the air and tensed. "Riona-."

Rionar flicked me with his tail and I went silent. "Crude game that you're playing," he announced out loud. "Tailing me, just to bring fear."

I hid behined one of Rionar's legs and cowered. If Rionae didn't attack already, his enemy had to be a respected one.

Even with Rionar's comment, no voice spoke back. Rionar was tense all over and that made me more afraid. He wasn't strong enough. He didn't feel strong enough. He wasn't strong enough compared to the creature hiding.

"You scare me when you do that Alex."

"I sought for you to protect the tomb! A big scardy kitty? Maybe I should have given it to the bunny."

Rionar loosened. "Alex, you're going to kill me with your sneaking."

"No, I only followed because I caught the scent of something..."

I backed away from Rionar's leg and hid in a small patch of low laying plants. Alex was the Alex that I knew. The Alex that killed me.

Rionar seemed to catch on and he backed up and sat. "A plane went down. Tell me about it."

Through some of the leaves, I could see the figure of Alex. He was wearing a black shirt with a leather jacket and jeans. His eyes were the exact same, a deep pitch black charcoal color. He looked completely evil in his attire.

I froze as his eyes seemed to settle on me. I tried to blend in with the dark leaves, but Rionar wasn't blocking his sight well enough for me to move a centimeter.

"Way I saw it, the plane caught fire while in the air. My targets were on that plane and I want to know how it caught fire."

Rionar stiffened. "The crash site wasn't far from me. If Crystal Lloyd was on that plane, he'd be on my trail already. Remember our deal Shadow." Rionar stood up and advanced on Alex.

"Chill out carnivor." Alex turned around. "I'll get on it, but you must go protect that tomb. No one can reach it. Understand Rionar?"

Rio nodded and watched Alex dissapear through the trees. It was a long while before he turned around and looked at me. "So I'm harboring someone on his kill list."

I looked toward where Alex dissapeared to and nodded. "We aren't on the best of terms."

I stuck closely Rionar and now only trailed back a couple times. "Are we there yet?"

Rionar stopped at a rock wall and sighed. "Yes, we are."

I can out from under him. "What is this?" All I could see was a rock wall in front of Rionar.

"Well since I have a phycopathic killer following my trail, we have to take the long way to the tomb."

"To the tomb?" I looked up at Rionar. "Didn't Alex just say-."

"Only humans or ones of the sub catagories...Anyway! You need to get up on this one Birdy. The trail I take you can't walk on."

I reached out and touched the stone wall in front of us. "You're getting hurt if you ram into this one. Neal down."

Once I was flat on his back, Rionar ran forward through the thick stone wall that was in front of him. As if magic, he sailed through.

I looked in awe at the undamaged solid stone wall. "What is that?"

"It's called a steel gate, it's like a fake wall that only certain things can pass through. That one was made with charcoal dust so only things of dark matter or firey substances can pass through. Not likely for anything to find it, that's why Alex xonstantly visits this entrance

I looked at Rionar. "That doesn't make sense. Why would Alex come here to the door...untill-."

"Yes." Rionar purred walking into the mouth of a small stuffy mine shart tunnel. Rionar alined his feet with the rails of the ground and started off into a powerfull run.

I clung to Rionar's neck with my front legs and shut my eyes as my bottom torso flew up in the wind.

All I could feel was the powerfull wind flying through my fur and my tail constantly hitting the ceiling of the shaft.
