They saw those hideous, decaying Shahils charging towards them.
"See you on the other side." said Shaetran
"Come on guys, we need to make it through this. We can't give up now, not after all these years that we've known each other." said Ferrwrath with a mixture of sadness and determination in his voice. The team could clearly hear that he was on the verge of crying.
"Let's show those Shahils that we won't be beaten this easily!" exclaimed Tom
"Good luck." wished Sapphire to the team and the soldiers.
They all knew that this could be the last day that they saw each other and the last day of their lives. And this broke their hearts.

Thus, the fighting on each continent started. The medical officers were ready.
In Europe, the attacks had begun in France, Slovenia, Poland and Finland; in North America, the fighting had begun in a few States of the US and a few areas in Canada. In the east, the attacks began in China, India, Australia, Russia and Iran. In Africa, attacks had begun in Egypt, South Africa, Chad and Mauritania. In South america, attacks had been reported in Brazil, Argentina and Peru. No one knew if Mexico had been attacked.
After a few minutes, swords were changing against shields, against other swords, claws and teeth were being sunk into flesh and magic attacks were being sent out in every direction. After five minutes, the medical teams were already submerged with wounded warriors.
Overall, approximatively 900 soldiers had been lost to the enemy in less than half an hour.
