Africa

In Africa things were going as best they could. The casualties weren't too high, but weren't surprisingly low either.

Liam was dodging attacks as best he could but he had already suffered a few blows that would need treating if he continued to fight. He used his light magic as either chains to hit Shahils against each other, as swords to pierce their hearts, or as a shield.

"Hey...!" Liam rasped and panted "How is everybody doing...?"

"I'm fine Liam, don't worry." answered Lashthra before she screeched at a Shahil before attacking it, full force. She was running between the other soldiers of the army, helping them if she could on her way. She has only a few superficial scratches on her face and wings. Her wings had served her well since she managed to evade her ennemies and blow tornado-strong hurricanes on groups of Shahils.

"Guys, were in the middle of a battle to save this planet, now is not the time to try and make small talk!" yelled Sheimar. He was doing considerably well, considering that he was facing three Shahils at the same time. He managed to evade most of their attacks but his tail had suffered a severe blow and the bleeding wouldn't stop. Sheimar tried to ignore the burning, stinging pain in his tail as he kept on fighting.

Suddenly, they heard a powerful grunt, sounding like one of them finishing off a Shahil. It turned out to be Ferrwrath.

"Lashthra's right Liam! Concentrate on the fighting and avoid getting killed!" answered Ferrwrath. Ferrwrath had gotten some more scratches and cuts due to his age; he was older than the rest of the team and most of the army soldiers. He was drenched in sweat as he fought with all his remaining strength against the Shahils. The more time passed, the more his eyesight became blurry. He fought his way off the battlefield, his eyesight almost gone.

"What happened?" asked a medical school student, rushing over to Ferwrath

"I-I'm losing my eyesight." said Ferrwrath, practically blind

"Let me get you over to this tent. Now, when did you start loosing your eyesight?"

"It came on gradually while I was fighting."

"Has this happened to you before?" asked the student, getting nervous

"No."
