Chapter 1

The Twins

Thrivil urgently needed to find somewhere for them to make camp as he couldn't risk dispatching the army before having spoken to the planet's leaders, as it would take too much time to coordinate incase of a surprise attack.  The General had told him that the army would arrive the next day, so Thrivil had the rest of the day to find somewhere to put the army.  The General was sending him half of the entire army.   The soldiers were not Nashkas like the team, they were hybrids of different species such as lion and human or griffins: that's what separated the Royal Hybrid Army from the regular army.

After a few hours of searching, Thrivil had still not found a place to put the army.  There was this field in Aquash that could be big enough for his soldiers but  Aquash was far from Island, walking distance, and it would take too long using the tramway.  Nevertheless Ferrwrath and Shaetran managed to convince him to use the field, as it was the only place big enough they could find.

After Sapphire had become her old self again, she left her host parents' home and went to live with the team.  It had been hard for her host parents but they manage to understand that it was necessary.

Sapphire spent most of her time renovating their Headquarters as this would be their new home until they won the battle.  She had gone to almost every real estate agency but no one seemed to be preoccupied with what happened to that house.  Sapphire decided to take the house and bought with what money she had, some wood for the floor and paint for the walls.  

The house wasn't in as bad state as she thought it was since it already had two rooms, a kitchen and a makeshift living room.  The team had made ten bunk beds but they weren't as solid nor as comfortable as normal beds.  The couch was old and torn.

"We'll get a new one if we have time" Sapphire thought to herself

After having painted the whole house and put down the wooden floor, Sapphire asked that the whole team give her as much money as they could so that she could buy some furnishing and appliances.  They had enough for a refrigerator, a microwave and a couch.  The money that the team had brought was very valuable on Earth: one coin was worth fifty euros.  Each team member had three hundred coins on them; which came up to  180 000 euros.

"Well, it's better than nothing." said Sapphire after Mishai, Liam, Speria had helped her bring the refrigerator in.

"Yes, but we're going to need money to get food." pointed out Mishai

"Well I could try and get some food from my host parents." replied Sapphire "I for one will take a job since I've lived on this planet for the past sixteen years."

"We'll have to ask the others who wants to take a job as well.  How many would need to take jobs?" asked Liam

"Four would be ideal." answered Sapphire. "I know that they wouldn't be able to train as often but we need the money."

"Well, I could come with you and look for a job." offered Speria

"So can I." offered Liam

"Thanks.  Now let's go and ask the rest of the team." concluded Sapphire

After having talked with the rest of the team, two more warriors took some time off training and decided to help bring the team's economy up: Shathril and Sparky.  The five of them would go out tomorrow and try to find jobs.

It was already 5 pm and the team still had no food so Sapphire and Thrivil went over to Sapphires host parents to ask if they could have some food.

"Please!" begged Sapphire "Tomorrow, a small group of the team and I will go out to find jobs so that we can start having incomes.  Once we have jobs, we won't bother you anymore for food!" 

"I'm sorry that we have to bother you like this." apologized Thrivil, trying to be more reasonable than his twin sister. "It's just for tonight." he explained. 

In the end, Sapphire's host parents slightly reluctantly let them have all their pasta and tomato sauce.
