Chapter Eleven: Sick

Who the fck is Alina!

"Sino yun?" He asked.

Should I tell him? Ayaw ko namang makealam kung sino man yung tumawag sakanya. Nagaalinlangan lang ako. Bakit may tumawag sakanyang babae? I never heard that Alina name before.

"Shoty, who called?" He asked again.

"A girl.."

"What girl? Sino?" He said.

Patuloy parin siya sa ginagawa niya. I trust Jayson. He wouldn't do such things that can hurt me. But why did a girl called him?

"Alina.." I said.

He stops. Huminga siya ng malalim at humarap sakin. He washed his hands at pinunasan ito. Naglakad siya palapit sakin at kinuha yung phone niya chaka ito pinatay. He didn't say any word. I just stared at him.

"Sino siya?" I asked.

"She's not that important, Shotia.. Don't mind her. Okay? And, please.. kalimutan mo na yang iniisip mo. Just trust me okay?" He said.

Tinignan ko siya sa mga mata. I know his not hiding something from me. Pero, bakit iba ang nararamdaman ko. Nagseselos lang ba ako? Pero, bakit parang iba?

"Okay?" He says.

"O.. okay.." I said.

"Good.." he said and kissed my forehead.

Calm down, Shotia! Wag mo nalang isipin yun. Sabi ng isip ko. Don't make this worst to Jayson. Remember, graduation niya bukas. You should make him happy. Sabi ulit ng isip ko. Yes! Oo nga naman. Importante ang graduation ni Jayson.

After that delicious dinner na hinanda ni Jayson. We quickly continued our thing. Hindi ko muna inisip yung ALINA na yun. I just focused on Jayson. Siya lang naman ang importante sakin ngayon.

"I love you, Shotia.."

"I love you too, Jays.."  

He lay beside me and finally went to sleep. I gave him a good night sleep. And place my head on his chest. Please Jayson. Don't hid something that will hurt me.

It's Jayson's Graduation day. I'm a bit nervous and excited for him. I'm fixing myself. Andito parin ako sa condo niya. I live here ya know! Lana told me to come over para ibigay sakin yung hinihiram kung white dress na isusuot ko and if course flat shoes. Ayaw ni Jayson na mag-heels daw ako.

We went to the hospital. 5am in the morning. Sabi nang doctor lagyan ko lang daw ng so called 'jelly' para mawala tapos, maglalaho rin lang daw yung sakit as long as I don't wear heels.

"Hey babe.." Jayson appears.

"Yeah?"

"Is it okay for you if I go ahead. I need to fetch Aunt Lucinda. Don't worry I'll let John pick you up.." he said.

"Yeah, it's fine.. I'll see at school?"

"Okay. I'll go ahead then.. bye.. love you.." he said and gave me a sweet kiss.

"Bye.. ingat ka.."

He went out from the room. Then I heard a murmur from downstairs. Maybe it's Lana. I quickly went out the room si Lana nga. Hinintay niyang umalis si Jayson at tumingin sakin. She held the bag that she's holding.
