Chapter Thirteen: Going somewhere

After Alina came to us. Hindi na siya nagpakita pa. And malapit na ring umalis si Jayson papuntang New York. He needs to go there kase may nakahanda ng trabaho sakanya dun. And of course a huge and rich company is waiting for him there. Wala naman akung magawa, to make him stay. He needs to do it. It's for our future.

"Hey babe! Izach is calling.." sigaw ni Jayson.

I quickly went downstairs and rush to Jayson. He handed me my phone. And answer Izach.

"Hey! What's up?"

"Shotia! Come over my house. Someone, needs a babysitter.."

"Babysitter?"

"Yes! Just come over.."

"Okay.. now?"

"Yes now!"

Someone's very excited. I drop the call after we said our goodbyes. I went to Jayson to tell him. But he was staring at me very serious.

"What does he want?" He said.

"He wants me to go there, at their house. Someone needs a babysitter.."

"Who? Izach needs a babysitter?"

"No. Not him. I don't know. He didn't tell.."

"Tsk! I don't trust him.." he says.

"Hmm? Why? Diba magkaibigan kayo?"

"Yes. But not anymore.." he said as he sat on the sofa and switch the TV on.

I quickly turn my head around. What do you mean? Noon, naguusap pa sila. Eh simula naman na nung naging kami umiiwas na rin si Izach sakin. But now? It's a surprise that he called. Baka nga kailangan niya talaga ng babysitter. So, I went to Jayson and sat beside him.

"Babe, what's wrong?" I asked.

"Ayokong lumapit ka sakanya.. not ever.." he says.

Huminga ako ng malalim at kinuha yung phone ko. I stood up and called Izach.

"Hey? You coming?"

"Izach, I can't come.."

"Oh? Nagbago isip mo?"

"Yes. Uh? I'll just come, soon.."

"Hmmm.. let's just talk about it tomorrow.."

"Okay. Thank You, Izach.."

I drop the call. And Jayson is standing right next to me. He stood still as he puts his hands on his pockets.

After ng graduation ni Jayson and after niyang lagnatin. Hindi na siya lumabas pa ng condo. He stayed there at ako naman hinahatid sundo niya sa school. Ewan ko ba kung anung trip niya sa buhay niya. Kung kakausapin ko naman siya tungkol sa pagalis niya. Hindi niya ako sinasagot kung hindi iba ang sasabihin niya sakin.

Nakakapagtaka man isipin. Pero, bakit ba ayaw niya akung payagang makipagusap or makipagkita kay Izach. Ayaw niya. At isa pa yung si Alina. What's next? Baka pati si Lana, pagbabawalan niyang lumapit ako sakanya?

"Hindi kana pupunta?" He ask with a huge and wide smile.

"Nope. I'll be staying here with you.. until Monday. Stuck with you. Happy now?" I said.

"Yes! Thank you baby!" He said and gave me a quick kiss.

Hindi ko nalang pinansin. Kahit na medjo nagtatampo ako kase hindi niya ako pinayagan.

Problema ng taong to? He jump twice yung parang nageexercise, tapos kinuha niya yung phone niya. Nagtaka naman ako sa ginawa niya. I just watch him as he puts his phone on his ears.

"Hey! Francis! Tuloy tayo ngayon! Call, Seth and the others!" Sabi ni Jayson.

Lumapit ulit siya sakin ang caress my face. Francis? Seth? Others? GIRLS!?

"Pack your things babe. We're going somewhere.." he said.

"Francis? Seth? Others? Somewhere? Pack? Jays, what's going on?" Tanong ko habang sinusundan siya pataas ng kwarto.

"Francis Dela Rosa, you don't know him?"

"Dela Rosa? Ah! Yung quarterback ng football sa University?"

"Yes, his my friend remember? And Seth Martins yung captain ng basketball.. and the rest you'll meet them soon. So, better pack your things, right now baby.." he said and kissed the tip of my nose.

"Okay.."

So, kumuha ako ng mga damit ko. Fix my things and put it in the bag. He also put his things with my things. Dahil sa marami kaming gamit, Jayson took out huge logage. Maleta kung baga. Nagpalit ako ng damit. Tattered jeans, loose shirt at habang tumitingin ako ng isusuot kung sapatos.

"Don't you wear heels, Shotia.." he said.

"Fine.."

"Just wear flats baby.. or boots.." he said.

Nagflats nalang ako. Let my messy, curly hair down. Put on some maskara. And ready to go.

Saan ba kami pupunta? Kasama pa an mga barkada niya? But I don't mind. Para naman makapagpasyal ako. Hindi yung school at condo lang ni Jayson. But I'm happy that I'm with him. Every single day.

"Ready to go baby?" He asked.

"Yes. Let's go!"

We're on a mini bus. I don't know who owns it. Pero, it's cool and I know it's an expensive one.  Francis Dela Rosa the quarterback, Seth Martins the Captain ball, Dennis Greyson the Captain in lacrosse, Andrew Matt the famous dancer in the University and Leon Bolton. Andito silang lahat. And napansin ko rin na may isang babae sa gilid. And I was shocked when I saw Lana. Leaning on Leon's lap. She's sleeping. Fck! What the heck is she doing here!? And why is Leon holding her!

I wave at Leon and he just gave me a smile. Jayson and I sat right next to Andrew and  Seth. Umupo ako sa may bintana.  Habang si Jayson nakikipag- apir sa mga kasama niya.

"Sht bro! Look at you! You have grown your muscular thights!" I think that's Seth.

"Seriously? I'm not attending ny schedules at the gym anymore!" Jayson.

"Hey Francis! Jayson, is now a loyal man! Wohohoho!" I don't who the heck is that.

"Hahahaha! Oh yes! I forgot, hey hey! Guys! Listen.. I would like to introduce my girlfriend.. Shotia Hale.." he said and grab my hand.

"That's our boy! Hey there Shotia!"

"That's Dennis.. Hey guys! She's not very familiar with your faces. So, better introduce yourself.." Jayson says.

A lot of handsome faces in this bus. Nakakatunaw. Kilala ko silang lahat by faces and name. Nagtataka ako, meron si Leon pero wala si Izach? Talaga bang nagaaway sila?

So, I have meet all of them personally. They are all good persons. I think. Mga playboy rin lang naman ang mga to. I have a quick chats with Dennis and Seth. Andrew is driving in front. Leon is asleep with Lana. Seriously, what is she doing here? 

"Kakausapin ko lang si Andrew sa harap babe. Okay?" Jayson said.

"Okay.."

He gave me a quick kiss and he stood up and walk going in front. So, tumingin nalang ako sa bintana. Nang may naramdaman akung umupo sa tabi. I thought it was Jayson. Kaya lumingon agad ako. Nagulat naman ako nung nakita ko si Francis na abot tenga ang ngiti. Wow! He looks like a fallen angel from above. Kaya maraming humahanga sa grupo nila. Because of there good demn looks.

"Wanna have a chat with me? Para naman maging kaibigan ko ang girlfriend ng kaibigan ko.." he said.

Why not? I'm not good in socializing but I can accept small chats. Jayson won't mind? Kaibigan niya naman tong kakausapin ko diba?
