Chapter Fifteen : Knock at the door?

                               Chapter 15: Knock at the door?

(Devan's POV)

It has been a few days since the mall. Drew and I have been getting closer....

We've become really serious

 Drew was sitting next to me on the bed, we were cuddling and watching a movie. Nyela and Keaton were there too all cuddled up. It was a really rainy day and Nyela and I had gone over to hang out.

" Hey let's watch a movie guys!" Drew inquired.

We all released a few groans, no one wanted to watch a movie!

Drew came really close and whispered in my ear, with complete seductiveness," Come on I want to cuddle."

" I'm in! ", I shouted almost immediately. I'm not one to give up any way of touching Drew!

 As we were sitting there on the bed all of us were cuddled to our specific person. Now I'm not going to lie, I had no intention of watching this movie! I was only there so Drew could hold me. I had my legs over Drew's, and my head on his shoulder. His hand would lightly rub my leg from time to time, sending chills all over my body.

 As I had just gotten comfortable there was a knock at my bedroom door. I groaned as I got up, because I'm lazy. When I flung the door open , there in my hallway stood my worst enemy. Lexi was right in front of me! In my own house, after all that dram and heartache she caused. She had serious guts!

" What are you doing here?" I slowly stated. I think I was too stunned to speak.

" I had to come see it for myself!" she said shockingly.

"See what exactly?"

" That you were still here, after all that you didn't leave."

I began to laugh, then answered her in the sassiest way," Yeah you will have to try a little harder to get rid of me! "

Lexi stood their for a second just looking at the ground.

" Is that all you needed? We are kind of in the middle of watching a movie."

 Lexi looked up and I saw tears in her eyes. her voice cracked when she spoke," Devan I'm really sorry, you were right! My friends don't like me for who I am. I was jealous of you! I was jealous that Drew looked at you and not me! I thought what I was doing would help me get him back, but all it did was make him hate me more."

 Now you see honestly, I had dreamt of this moment when Lexi found out how terrible of a person she was, but in my dreams I felt good about her breakdown. All I could feel now for her was pity. Maybe I miss judged her?

 The bed creaked as if someone rose from the bed. I turned my head to see Drew walking toward the door. He put his arm on the door frame just above his head and looked at her. Drew studied her face then straightened his body.

" Thank you for apologizing Lexi, You aren't the person I took you to be after all."

She wiped her nose and gave him a light smile.

Drew opened his arms to hug her. She ran into him and held him tightly.

 That's when I wasn't really sure how I felt. Drew wasn't even my boyfriend yet! Lexi on the other hand had been his girlfriend. What had their relationship been like?  I stood there watching as she cried in his arms. Was it wrong for me to feel a little upset still? What if this is all just a plan to get him back.
