Chapter 9: Off the hook

Darling's P.O.V.
The cards take us to the queen of hearts palace. They escort us right to the queen.
"Who have you brought me?!" The queen asks her cards.
They shrug and walk off.
"Who are you?! And where is Lizzie?!" The Queen shouts at us angrily.
"Your majesty, if I may." I walk up to her. "We are just Lizzie's friends from school, who happened to wind up in wonderland."
"Honk! I am Lizzie's best friend and roommate. She was very brave and protected me from being taken." Duchess says.
"What happened to her?!" The Queen shouts.
"She was taken by a ghost. Who kidnapped her." Duchess sadly says.
"Your majesty." Raven speaks. "It wasn't just Lizzie, but my best friend too."
"Why Lizzie?" The Queen starts to cry.
"We're actually here because we're trying to find her. To find all of our friends. We just wound up here by mistake, your majesty." Raven sighs. "If you let us go, we'll try to find her."
"Very well. Then I will offer my bravest knight to assist you all on your quest." The Queen stands up. "Will the Red Queen and her son please come her!"
Suddenly the Red Queen and Chase walk into the room.
"The Red Queen and I have formed an alliance. She is one of my most valuable staff now."
I don't even hear what the Queen's saying next. Because I'm so busy staring at Chase.
"Now off you go."
Chase walks over to me. When he retches me he stops.
"Hi Darling." He says.
I blush. "I Chase." I give him a hug.

Chase's P.O.V.
That was unexpected. Can the daughter of a Charming and the White Knight of Wonderland like me back? I mean I've had a crush on her since I first discovered she was the White Knight, but I mean she's a charming. She's to good for me. And her brothers hate boys going near her. But maybe she does like me back. I mean, I do. But dose she?
"Come on Chase. I have to fill you in on what's been going on." Darling says as she walks beside me. "Students are being kidnapped and we're trying to find them and solve the case."
"Sounds... um..." I start.
I can't focus on what Darling's saying. It's just her eyes are so pretty. And she is to.
"So!"
I just realized Darling was talking. I stop focusing on her beauty and start focusing to her talking.
"Um... Darling I have to ask you something." I stop talking and she dose too. All of her attention is on me. "Do you... uh.." I start to sweat. "Do you..." I take a deep breath. "Do you like me?"
Darling just stares at me like I'm crazy.
She takes a deep breath.

Clawdeen's P.O.V.
We're finally out of detention.
"Ghouls." We're sitting in our new dorms since the school is on lockdown. I share with Frankie. She's gathered everyone from our mission up and we're meeting in our dorm. "We need to do something about the missing ghouls." Frankie says.
Everyone nods.
"But we can't get caught again. That detention was brutal." Robecca says.
"Then we have to sneak out at night." Frankie says.
"But we won't have enough time to get there." I say.
Everyone nods.
"Draculara leant me her car, and I still have the keys. But that means we go in groups of three." Frankie says.
"But we need to be smart about our groupings. Focus on what each of us are good at." I tell everyone.
"Clawdeen and Robecca need to be in different groups. They both fast." Abbey says.
"I am good with plants and animals." Venus says.
"Oui. I am good with logic." Rochelle adds.
"Ehhhhh uhhh a." Ghoulia moans.
"I can lend a hand." Frankie says.

Soon are groups are set.
Me, Rochelle and Venus are a team. Frankie, Abbey and Robecca are a team. And Ghoulia will help us both leave school.
"Let's do this!" I shout.
Everyone puts their hands in. "Team Monster High!"

Darlings P.O.V.
Did Chase really just ask me what I think he did? I don't know what to say. I'm speechless.
"Chase..." I begin but he cuts me off.
"I know it's stupid, but I like you, Darling. But I know you don't feel the same, but-" Chase starts.
I cut him off with a kiss.
"I was going to say yes." I kiss him again. It just isn't a regular kiss. It's passionate one.
"Come one Chase we can't get to far behind from the others." I run up to catch them with Chase on my heels. Courtly told us we could plan in her wonderland school office. But we found a huge surprise waiting.
"You are officially trespassing on school property." A blue knight comes up to us.
"I am the Vice Principal!" Courtly yells at the knight.
"To bad. You stepped on school property so you have to go to school today." The knight escorts us inside the school. "Now off to class."
"One wonderland adventure to the next." Raven mumbles.
We head to class. It's so strange though. The moving floors, the small and big doors. Suddenly the knight stops.
"This way to your class." He opens a door and let's everyone pass except me and Chase.
"The vice principal wants to see you two."
