Maddie's P.O.V.
"Why did we just have to come on the one school day this year!" I sigh.
"Again." Raven adds.
"Ya. And if it's anything like last time..." Brair starts.
"It'll be crazy!" I shout hexcitedly.
Everyone else groans.
"Hey wait a spell. Where's Chase and Darling?"
Darling's P.O.V.
The way to the Vice Principals office is scary. Dark and gloom are everywhere. Chase holds my hand. He's scared too.
"Here you to go." The blue knight leaves us in front of a door.
Chase holds me close as he opens it.
"Hello, Miss Vice Principal." Chase says as he enters.
"Hello, indeed." The Vice Principal cackles as she turns around in her chair. "I am now Vice Principal of this school."
"Miss Cheshire?" I ask.
"And The Mad Hatter. Teaming up, again." The mad hatter then slides into the room.
"Why hello, there! Tea anyone?" He giggles.
I just wave. He laughs.
"Well he's the Vice Vice Principal and as of this moment I am now the principal." The Cheshire Cat smiles. "So how's Kitty? Is she here too?"
"Yes. In class." Chase says.
"You may wonder, why you two are here. I need a job. And once you do it, you are all free from school. Except Kitty. She can just hang out with me all day."
"And Madeline." The mad hatter adds.
"And Maddie, fine. But you must complete this job, even I can't complete. It takes two brave warriors of wonderland to complete it. And one with a true heart." Kitty's mom snickers.
I look at Chase with fear in my eyes. I'm the one with the true heart.
Raven's P.O.V.
"This isn't right! Stop arguing you two! This isn't the time to spellibrate! We need to pass this class! And first off your getting it all wrong!" I shout at my crazy, flying monkey teachers. When they continue arguing I sigh.
"Your not doing multiplication! Your doing addition! You said we're working on multiplication!" I scream.
My friends just sigh.
"I do recall saying that." One teacher says.
"Well I don't!" The other says. They continue to argue.
I sigh. This is point less.
"You need to stop, now!" I shoot a green flame across the room. Everyone turns to me. "You two are acting like two untrained circus monkeys! This is math class isn't it?! Not debate class!" The bell dings.
"Correct!" One flying monkey teacher says. "You've passed."
We then move onto our next crazy class.
Darling's P.O.V.
"We're doing this to save everyone." I mutter over and over to myself.
"Darling, you don't have too. There could be another way." Chase tells me.
"It's detention. I have to do this. Besides we don't entirely know what my heart has to do with anything."
"You do the know the risk your taking right?"
"Yes Chase. It's for my friends. For all of Ever After. I'm nothing compared to them." I sadly say.
"That's not true. You saved them, and brought me back from the dark side. Your the white knight of wonderland."
"Everyone just thinks I'm a pampered princess." I mumble.
"That's not true, Darling. Your a warrior. A powerful princess who's making a difference. Even if you can't see it."
"Do you think this is our turn?" I look down at the map. I show Chase.
"Yes." He says.
I look up. In front of us is the scariest place in wonderland. The darkest forest. The spot where everyone child's parents tells them to stay away from. The Wackerdown cliff edge forest. And inside the forest hides secrets and madness that no one, not even the Mad Hatter can understand. And the Jabberwocky temple, the place where the Jabberwocky lost its head, right by the cliffs edge, into a dark dark gorge.
I shiver. This place gives me the creeps. And Chase too. He trembles.
"It's for Ever After High." I remind him. "We must stay strong to save our worlds. Wonderland included."
"Yes. Even if it's Wackerdown." Chase says. "We must."
I nod. He nods back. We walk into the forest. We walk along the small dirt path. As we pass crows caw and curl up into balls. I gulp. Even their scared. Suddenly I catch a glimpse of the Jabberwocky temple. It's calling to me. Something is drawing me towards it. The temptation is growing stronger. Suddenly we hear a shrill cry. Suddenly I look up behind the temple...
"It's the Jabberwocky!" I scream. There it is back from the dead approaching us very fast. I pull out my sword and run.
