The branches surrounded us. Ashlyn was right. We were trapped. Vines grabbed onto my hands and tried to pull me down. Hunter got out his axe and chopped them off my arm.
"Thanks." I said as we ran for cover from the branches.
"Don't mention it." Hunter mumbled.
We dashed into a forest. We stopped when the branches were out of view to catch our breath.
"What are those things?" Ashlyn asked.
"I don't know but they are dangerous. We have to hide." Hunter said.
We toke cover in a big oak trees branches that night. I slept under the stars. Suddenly I heard a rustling noise. I sat up and looked around.
"Who's there?" I asked.
The rustling continued. It got louder and louder until it suddenly stopped. I lay back down and tried to relax. Soon I felt something tug my ankle.
Normal P.O.V.
"Ahhh!"
Hunter sat up and grabbed his axe.
"Ashlyn! Brair!" Hunter got up and looked around. Something was coming from above him.
"Let go of me!" It was Brair.
Hunter dashed up the tree and found Briar being attacked by the same branches as earlier. With a quick swing of his axe, they stopped.
"What are those things?" Brair asked as she dusted herself off.
"I think we're in the Never Fern Forest." Hunter gulped.
Melody's P.O.V.
Everyone had been missing for days. Raven, Darling, Cedar, Ashlyn, Poppy, Ginger, the list goes on. School is really boring. We're stuck inside our rooms all day, every day. I turn around and face my new roomie.
"Hey Cupid." I sat beside my "roomie" on her bed.
"I miss Dex. And everyone else." Cupid says.
"I don't know what we can do to help."
"Have hope? Faith?" Cupid wondered aloud.
I got up and walked over to the window. I watched the last rays of sun disappear on the horizon. But the last ray lit something up. More like someone's.
"Cedar! Raven! Cerise! Poppy!" I shouted.
They ran across the field and waved.
"Their back, there back!" I shouted with joy.
Cupid came to window to see for herself.
"I wonder where they'll been." Cupid said.
Raven cast a spell and everyone suddenly appeared in our dorm.
"So where have you guys been?" Cupid asks.
"A spell sent us to Wonderland!" Cedar exclaimed.
"We were stuck there." Courtley added. "In my own school!"
"But we made a deal with the new Vice Principal." Poppy said.
"And, Darling..." Ginger trailed off. No one wanted to say it.
"Darling saved all of us. But she got cursed." Chase sadly said.
I gasped. "Where is she now?"
"Sleeping in Wonderland."
Robecca's P.O.V.
"You found the lamp?!" I said excitedly.
"Not exactly. I sensed it. Not in the pool, but beside it." Gigi explained.
"So it's beside the pool?"
"Yes."
"What goes down beside the pool? I don't know anything that goes down that far? Wait!" A spark fizzed out of me. "The catacombs. There's a part that goes really far underground!"
"Great. Now we need to go get that lamp. If we want Monster High to be saved, we need to get it."
I nodded. "I'm ready for an adventure, again."
