Okay. *Inhale-exhale* This is it. This is really is it, is it. The last publishing company in the Philippines na pupuntahan ko at papakiusapang i-paper back ang story ko.

Just face powder and a candy pink lipstick and I'm wearing a pink casual dress, a white cardigan over it and a nude wedge with my brown guess body bag and the hard copy of This Weird Nerd is a Gangster.

Taas noo akong nag-lakad papunta sa receptionist ng company.

"Hi! Good morning." Nakangiting bati ng receptionist. "Do you have an appointment here Ma'am?"

"Yes. I'm Cristine Bernadette Madrigal and I have an appointment with Mr. Garcia." Nakangiti ko ring sabi.

"Oh. Miss Madrigal, he's been waiting for you. Follow me ma'am." Mahinhin nyang sabi at sinundan ko sya.

Eto na yun. Sana naman hindi na ma-reject 'tong story ko. Sana ito na yung kompanyang makaka-appreciate sa story ko.

"We're here Miss Madrigal. I'll leave you now Ma'am." Nakangiting pagpapaalam ng receptionist.

"Thank you." I said to her and smile.

*Knock. Knock. Knock.*

"Good morning Mr. Garcia. I'm Cristine Bernadette Madrigal, the one who sent you an e-mail." Kinakabahan kong sabi.

"Yes, I know. Come on. Have a seat."

"Thank you Sir."

"So, where's your story?" Okay. Eto na. *Hingang malalim*

"Here Sir." Inabot ko na sa kanya yung hard copy ng TWNIAG.

"Okay. I'll read this. You can leave now and be back at 4pm to discuss with this and if it is okay for a paper back."

"Okay Sir. Thank you and I hope you like it." Nakangiti kong sabi at umalis na ng opisina nya.

Makapag-lakad na nga muna sa labas. I need a fresh air. Baka himatayin ako sa kaba eh. Sana naman this time may maka-appreciate na sa kwento ko.

   

-4pm at Mr. Garcia's office-

"Miss Madrigal, the story is catchy and interesting.." Pa-excite effect pang sabi ni Mr. Garcia. Wow! Eto na. Mukhang magkaka-paper back na rin ako. "but we have many good stories too to be published soon. And if we published This Weird Nerd is a Gangster now, the upcoming novel might be ignored. But I promised you, after we all published the upcoming ones we'll call you. I'm sorry for now." Malungkot na sabi ni Mr. Garcia.

"I understand Sir. Thank you." Sabi ko at lumabas na ng office nya.

Lagi na lang naman ganun eh. Sasabihin na catchy and interesting yung mga sinusulat ko, pero wala pa rin. Tatawagan daw nila ako, pero wala rin.

Maganda naman ang This Weird Nerd is a Gangster eh. 120,000+ reads na nga 'tong story ko sa wattpad eh.

Dahil ayaw naman nila 'tong i-publish at todo promote na 'ko, pakibasa na lang po. Paki-tingnan na lang po sa wattpad profile ni (ko) CristineIsMyName. Salamat po.

Makauwi na nga lang. Nakakapanlumo. I am not really a quitter but I guess, I should stop this. I know, that someday, someday, my dream will sure to come true. All I have to do is wait for the right time.
