What Jack had said sent shivers down my spine, it had my ears and tail twitching in the utmost rage at what he has said and what Jenny had told me.
"He just didn't care, he watched as I was kicked out and never spoke up, I was so alone."
Jack began trying to walk closer to Jenny, pushing her behind me I made my stance more threatening and growled in his direction as he kept trying to advance toward her.
"What are you do-"
"YOUR A BASTARD! YOU LET A POOR DEFENCELESS LITTLE GIRL GET KICKED OUT OF HER HOME WITH NO ONE TO RELY ON!" I screamed at him. It stopped him for the moment his steps wavering as he continued to try and get a glance behind me at the girl who's shivering and soft sobs could be heard for sensitive ears.
I could hear it.
"You don't unders-"
"I KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE ALONE! IVE BEEN ALONE MOST OF MY LIFE AND YET SOMEONE HERE COULD HAVE STILL HAD HER BACK THROUGH THE ROUGH TIMES! YOUR WORTHLESS FOR ABANDONING HER!" I kept yelling at him seeming to express all the emotions that Jenny wanted to show yet didn't have the courage to. Her brother was the one person in her family that didn't do anything, which meant that he must have known or hated what there family was doing to her...he could have helped her. Saved her from being trained by an evil Alpha to fight in wars that fourteen year old girls shouldn't even think about.
"I'm sorry but if you just let me explai-"
"There's nothing that you can say that will make this right," I told him firmly and quietly the point seeming to get across better as I talked lowly. "I will accept you being here since your mate is still harmed and unable to walk but under no circumstances are you to even be in Jenny's presence, if you join this pack you have to obey your leaders orders." I growled out my sharp and deadly tone so skilled it could even cut stone.
"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO DO THAT!" Jack yelled pointing an accusing figure at my rough stance that I was still finding hard to control.
"I just did." I told him firmly for the final time.
Jack grew raged quickly his eyes shifting colours as his wolf begun taking control of his rage shaken form that looked as if everything around him will be destroyed.
"Jack! Stop before you hurt someone!" Matilda screamed from the bed her arms reaching out and her form leaning over to him.
"I want you out of this room and to go and find that nice nurse, okay?" I mind linked Jenny who perked up as she heard my words in her mind.
"N-"
"Please, I don't want you hurt and when your brother calms down I'll let him talk to you properly," I kept pleading with her the words in my mind sounding more desperate then I would have ever been in real life.
I turned back to Jenny keeping my ears on the raged Jack in case he decided to attack. My tail was firmly wrapped around Jens form and I slowly let my tail slip from the grip I had on her so she could walk away. Her eyes looked at me so hurt but the understanding of what I was doing swam through and around her eyes all the same the two emotions becoming her same brown eyes.
"I'll tell you when to come back in," I bent down and placed a small kiss on her forehead. "Find Sapphire and she may share a donut with you if your special enough," Jenny chuckled as I told her this probably remembering how that Sapphire loved her donuts too much for words.
When I heard a growl I turned back to Jack his claws and fur becoming more apparent by the second. I continued to nudge Jenny out the door with my tail and I could feel as she suddenly ran out her comforting and warm presence suddenly lost.
I didn't want her to see this.
From a hidden pocket of my Lacey bra was a tiny silver butterfly knife, which I took out and studied the length of it. My skin cackled and burned with the silver the pain only a dull throb in my mind.
"I'm sorry," I told him and slowly walked closer to Jacks shaking form. As I walked closer I could feel the multiple scratches and cuts he placed on my body the blood dripping to the floor. Jacks eyes were a bright gold the power and force behind them like I've never seen before.
Finally when I was close enough and his arms were trying to kill me so fast it was very impressive, I felt thankful for the pain. But soon enough I got the small butterfly knife and pressed the blade side on on his neck so the nasty scare it was going to leave didn't become as visible. His screams filled the room and his mates cry of agony as she watched her mate becoming weaker from the silver blade was heart breaking for me to watch. But I knew I needed to continue so I could listen and talk to Jacks more rational side.
"Don't hurt him!" Matilda screamed the pain and anger slipping into her tone as she continued to watch.
Even as much as it pained me to leave the blade there I slowly retracted it as I watched his wolf become weaker and his form becoming only human, for now. It was painful for me to hurt an innocent wolf but the reason I had to was that I couldn't talk to his wolf when the only thing running through that tiny head was his mate and family, nothing else mattered to a wolf.
It was both annoying and magical.
His body collapsed to the ground his frantic and loud coughs the only thing being heard in the room besides Matilda's soft sobs as she watched the scene unravel in front of her.
A small chair sat in the corner of the room, it looked uncomfortable and scratchy but it would have to do for now. I grabbed Jack under his arms, his body too weak to fight back as I dragged him over to the run down chair his form crashing into it as I threw him roughly into the chair, my rage not once faltering.
"YOU COULD HAVE KILLED HIM." Matilda screamed from the bed, my ears went down and my tail went lax behind me hearing her.
"I had no other choice," I told her refusing to glance at her.
"YOU DID, YOU BITCH! I WAS WANTING TO SPEAK TO YOU AND ASK WHY YOU DID WHAT YOU DID BUT MY ANSWER IS ALREADY HERE...your a fucking monster." A fire burned in me as she called me that word.
I am a monster.
I could have maybe gotten wolfsbane or something and calmed him down. Maybe gotten Matilda to hug him or something.
"I am a monster." I mumbled to her. "Do you want to know who else called me that?" I fully turned around to her my red eye under the eyepatch stinging for some strange reason. I glared down at her, but she stayed unmoving my obvious glare and sneer on my face not affecting her in the slightest.
"Enlighten me," she asked in a bitchy tone her arms still crossed over her chest as she stared me down matching the glare on my face.
"It's a long list...my parents, my alpha, my sister, my brother, my pack mates, my pack members...my mate. Trust me I already know what I am." I told her my face a sneer in her direction the word mate sounding so distasteful in my mouth as foul and found memories of him replayed in my mind.
"MY OWN MATE!" I screamed at her my ears forward in a threatening way soft growls rumbling from my chest. "THE ONE THATS MEANT TO PROTECT ME AND MAKE ME FEEL SPECIAL REJECTED ME ON A BLOODY BATTLEFIELD! HE SAVED ME! LOVED ME! THEN FUCKING ABANDONED ME!" I screamed at her.
My response obviously surprised her, the way her eyes visibly widened and the way her mouth kept opening and shutting as she tried to think of a clever response.
She could think of nothing.
"I'm sorry I'm a lifeless bitch who spent half her life mute, I just wasn't lucky enough to be loved like any other normal person. When Jack wakes up I want both of you off my territory, I'll kill you if I see you again."
Like that I left the room my eye stinging, ears twitching, tail shaking with rage as an untamed fire continued its destruction on my soul.
