A Haunted Past

FLASHBACK

Y/n L/n isn't your average viking. For when she was only 3, she found she could speak dragonise. (the language of the dragons). Her village thought of her as a traitor and a monster, and cast her out, leaving her nothing but a tiny boat and a knife from her parents, from when they were alive. For 10 years she sailed, looking for a tribe, but every tribe would ask her the same question, and every time she would give the same answer, "No.". She eventually got shipped wrecked on an island made completely out of stone. The first night there, she heard a dragon call. When she got closer she found the calls were coming from a SKRILL! "Hello?" she asked. "Do you need help?" "I do need help my lord." The Skrill replied. "There is a boulder on my wing, and i cant get it off!" "Here let me help." With your strength and the Skrill's combined, you were able to get the boulder off, but the Skrill's wing was in pain, so you decided to nurse back to health. After that you to were inseparable. And you decided to name her, D/n.

5 years later

Y/N POV: "Woo-hoo!" I screamed as i plummeted towards the ocean, my yells slightly muffeled by the mask im wearing. Just before impact, a blue and white blur picked me up, and we soared into the clouds. "Wasn't that fun D/n?" You asked your Skrill. The only response I got from her was "You could've died!"standard talk from D/n whenever you try that trick."Aww, come on D/n, you caught me, didn't you?" All of a sudden, "Charge!" A whole bunch of dragon riders came at me. "Dive D/n!" I yell. We both dive towards the sea, just to see to vikings riding a Hideous Zippleback, and throw a net over me and D/n. Then I'm lifted off her and she is grabbed by a, wait is that a Night Fury? I here the familiar sound of electricity being charged up. "Release it now D/n!" I yell to my dragon. She dose as i say and the other dragons are blasted away, and the Monstrous Nightmare holding me lets go in surprise. As I plummet towards the sea I yell for D/n and she pics me up and we supersonic away, to an island that looks mostly uninhabited, and spend the rest of the night in a cave we found.

Hiccups POV: When the twins came back from the morning scout, the seemed out of breath! "What is it guys?" I asked as soon as they barged into the dining room. "There's...... a.......dragon.....rider.." Tuff puffed out. "Then lets go." I said. But Ruff stopped me. "He's......riding......a........Skrill." She said. For a moment there was silence. " We have to keep him away from Dragon's Edge." I stated. We all ran to our dragons and flew toward were the twins saw him last. We actually saw him on the way there. we all hid in the clouds, when i thought it was the right time,"Charge!"I shouted. We caught the rider by surprise. He dived but Ruff and Tuff were there. They threw a net on him and Snotlout picked him up. After we got the rider of his dragon, Toothless and I tried to grab the dragon, but before we could, the trainer yelled, "Now!" and the Skrill shot a bunch of electricity in different directions, causing us to fly back, and Hookfang dropping the rider. Just before he slammed into the ocean surface, his dragon saved him and they flew off into the direction of Dragons Edge! "He's heading for the Edge!" i shouted, and we all flew off at our top speed, hoping that we won't find destruction when we get back.
