*Soulmate! AU: The first words of your soulmate to you is tattooed on your wrist*
(Note: This will all be in Suga's POV)
People said that being a police officer is every guy's dream job. Cool uniform, you get to hold a gun, saving people and catching bad guys. However, reality is harsh. Being a police officer is those things and so much more. You need to do rigorous training, stay on high alert at all times, have a super strict supervisor, need to do paperwork, being scolded, and have super long work shifts.
I sighed as I placed my 10th cup of coffee after about 20 hours straight doing a report on my case of a robbery I solved. People only see the easiness of being a police officer, but they didn't even know about the work after that. Legal work is the worst.
I eyed my junior, Jungkook who agreed to stay with me late in the office to finish my paperwork. To my annoyance, he was sound asleep on the chair with his face having a silly smile on his face. He even mumbled his soulmate's nickname in his sleep, adding to my chagrin.
"Chiya..." he mumbled as he snuggled deeper into the chair. My annoyance shot up the roof as I poked his head quite harshly to wake him up. I glanced at my right hand quickly in reflex.
'Thank you for saving me'
Those words were inked on my wrist since I was still a new born baby. The cursive letters in black stood out against my pale skin. Those words were meant to be said by my soulmate for the first time to me. Those words were one of the reasons I became a police officer. I believe that my chances to meet my soulmate would be greater if I could work as a savior of people.
However, time passed and I was already 24 and I couldn't even find my own soulmate. I just had to sit there while watching the people in my department having a loving moment with their soulmates. Even my junior, Jungkook, found his soulmate when he's 19! I'm already 24, and nobody I saved had thanked me; not even once!
I stormed off the office as I punched out my card. Thank goodness I got a 3-days holiday after I finished my paperwork. I could chill out at my house, not worrying about seeing other people shoving their love in my face. As I climbed into my Lamborghini Aventador, I drove through the busy streets of Seoul.
I arrived at my mansion of a house a few minutes later. Even if I was just a police officer, truthfully, I was from a well-off family. Using my savings since I was a kid, I bought this house and car. I walked through the main double door and headed straight to my room.
As the bed dipped under my sudden weight, I fell into a well-deserved sleep after hours of workload.

It had been the second day of my break, and I wanted to have a breath of fresh air by walking around my neighbourhood. I felt revitalised as I greeted everyone with a smile. However, my phone rang, making me stop short in my tracks.
I picked up the call and stood alert as my supervisor's voice greeted at the other end of the line.
"Officer Min Yoon Gi! There's an accident nearby your neighbourhood! I need you to go and check up on the scene!" his voice boomed through the phone.
There went my break.
"Sir, yes sir!" I said curtly as I dashed to fetch my Aventador. I quickly drove to the scene and gasped. It was a collision between three cars, and the passengers in two of the cars were brought out by the kind passers-by but there were still people crowding at the unfortunate Porsche stuck in the middle of the collision.
