"Please, I don't want to go by myself." Jenn was beggin me to go out with her Friday night. It's obvious if I don't got she would have to show up alone. Her and Jessica don't talk anymore.
"Jenn, if I tell you something, do you promise to keep it a secret?" I decided it was about time that I told her.
"You know it."
"I'm pregnant."
"WHAT?! Wait, with who?"
"It's Drakes..."
"From a few weeks ago, right?"
"Yeah." I hated being reminded of that night. Especially whenI was trying to let it go.
"I'm so sorry. What are you going to do?"
"I'm thinking adoption, but Dylan thinks it's a bad idea."
"Are you and Dylan together?" I knew this question was going to follow once I mentioned his name. Honestly, I didn't know the answer. We have been hanging out a lot lately. After what he said last night I am definetly confused.
"No." I said firmly.After all I don't want a relationship.
"PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!" Jenn was begging once more.
"Okay fine, but I can't drink. " I decided to go since it would be my last night in town. I wasn't going to tell Jenn this tonight though. I have shared enough drama with her for one night.
I got in the shower, and looked for what I was going to wear. Wearing a dress wouldn't feel right anymore. So, I decided on jeans and a hoodie. I did my make-up really quickly and headed downstairs. I almost made it past the kitchen. I had to turn around and get something to eat. My stomach was growling at me. I got some leftover supper from the fridge. It only took my a few minutes to devour my whole plate. Guess I was hungry.
I went out front and sat on the deck waiting for Jenn. We decided we would use her car again, it works better than mine and plus, then I know she won't be getting drunk then attempting to drive.
BEEEP!
My phone indicated that I had a text. It was from Dylan.
Dylan: Want to go for a drive with me?
Me: I'm going out with Jenn.
As I awaited a reply my phone started ringing, sure enough it was from Dylan.
"Hellooooo." I said sound a little more joyful then I should have.
"Where are yas going?" Was the first thing he said.
"To a party."
"Are you sure that's such a great idea? You know Drake is probably going to be there. Besides, your pregnant, Brooke. Partying days should be over."
"I'll be fine Dylan. I'm not drinking. Thanks for being concerned though. I appreciate it."
"Fine, but i'm going too. Meet you there." With that he hung up the phone.
Why was he acting like this? I couldn't avoid Drake forever. We lived in the same town. As of a couple weeks ago, we both talk to the same people. Dylan and I were definetitly not together. He has no right in getting so into my life. Even if he is just worrying about me. I'm aloud to breathe. Being pregnant doesn't make me dead. Just limits what I canb and can't do.
Shortly after the phone call with Dylan Jenn pulled up. She had already been to the liqour store. She had one all opened up sitting in the console. As I approached the car she got out and told me to drive. She also offered me a drink. It was the coolers she always buys.
