I returned home Sunday night. This small town didn't feel the same anymore. I had such a great time at my aunts that the last place I wanted to be was at my mothers. It didn't even feel like home anymore. I spent the majority of Sunday night going threw my stuff and packing it away in boxes and bags. I still wasn't sure what I was going to do but if I decided to leave I at least wanted to be ready. Although, staying here didn't seem like much of an option. I mean, how could I stay here knowing i'm not wanted. I was glad the house was empty right now. I didn't want to see my mother or James.
I piled all of my boxes on my bed, then I realized I was hungry. I haven't eaten anything in at least three hours and lately with my appetite this was a long time. Eating here didn't seem like a good idea. I'm sure Nina would throw a fit. I really didn't want to be here but I didn't want to be alone eithier. I called Jenn and asked her to meet me at Subway.
"So are you back for good or just packing?" Jenn asked. She had a frown on her face.
"I honestly don't know. The thought of staying at the house scares me. I just packed all of my stuff, I just don't want to be alone tonight."
"If you move are you going to transfer school?"
"I can't! I'll never get caught up in time for graduation! School seems like a lost cause now."
"Well you can't give up, giving up will make it a lost cause. You need to graduate this year and the only way that's going to happen if you at least attempt to get back on track. Then you can say you tred. You need to finish school for the baby, and for yourself." Jenn lectured me. "If you don't transfer, I will help you get caught up."
"Really?" I honestly don't know what I would do without Jenn "Thank you!" I smiled at her. Having a female friend felt great.
"Why don't we go get your stuff?" She asked. I could tell she had an idea. Weather or not it was a good one or not, we were about to find out!
"Why?"
"You can stay at my place tonight. My parents are out of town and I don't want to stay home alone either. It gets boring and lonely. This was you can decide what you want to do without your mom freaking out at you. I have dads truck."
"If you really want to." I replied. I hope Nina and James didn't get back there yet.
I paid for our food and soon enough we were driving to the house. Dylan texted me while I was driving but I just ignored my phone. I pulled into the drive and Jenn soon followed behind me. We quickly ran upstairs and started grabbing bags and boxes and took them all outside.
"My bed, dresser, and my stands have to go on the truck. The boxes and backs can go in my car and the seat of the truck. My t.v. and stereo can go in my trunk, we will put bags of clothes around them for support." I directed. I had no idea how we were going to do this. I've never moved before in my life. I was just happy I wasn't going to be staying here anymore.
"We are gonna have to make two trips." Jenn stated. "There's too much stuff."
"We don't have enough time, they will be back in two hours."
Call Dylan!" Jenn said. She thought it was a great idea. However, this hit me hard.
"We are not talking right now." I didn't want to get into this. Time is being wasted as it was.
"Ill call my brother. his roommate has a truck. They can help us lift the heavy stuff and it gives us more space."
"You're a life saver, Jenn!" I hollered at her and wrapped her in a hug.
By the time the guys got there we had my car loaded and the seat in Jenns truck full.
"Brooke, this is my brother Jeremy and his roommate Ben."
