Brooke:

I waited last night out. I promised Jeremy that if the baby didn't move or something happened I would go to the hospital. He also stayed the night, he refused to let me stay alone.

It was about 3am. I hadn't sleep yet at all. Just tossed and turned. I don't think Jeremy slept much ethier. All of a suden I felt little peanut move. I was so relieved that I rolled over, hit Jeremy in the stomach and made him feel my stomach. The baby was being really active. It was amazing. Jeremy and I layed there for over an hour feeling him kick. I don't know how long he kicked after that because I passed out.

I woke up at noon to the smell of pancakes. I rolled out of bed and headed downstairs to a plate of pancakes on the table.

"Good morning." Jeremy greeted me. "I got hungry, hope you don't mind. I made you some though."

"Thanks ." I said sitting Down and pigging out.

"I gotta get going." Jeremy said breaking my moment of delicious food. "I work for a couple days today."

"Are you coming back over afterwards?" I didn't want to be alone. What if my mother was still around?

"I can. I think Jenn is coming by in a bit. I made arrangements so you're not here alone." It's like he read my mind.

"Okay." I gave him a hug and he was off.

It felt nice having Jeremy around. There's just something about him that I don't want to let go of. He seems to always be there when I need him most. Hopefully things with us work out, even if we just stay friends.

I went upstairs to get dressed. I decided to do my make up for the first time since I found out I was pregnant. I was straightening my hair when I heard footsteps on the stairs. Ii got scared that it could be my mother but I tried to reassure myself that it was just Jenn. I waited a few minutes before I realized no one was upstairs.

"Hello?" I said but was only answered by silence.

"Jenn?!" Still nothing.

I started downstairs. "Jenn this isn't funny." I was getting fed up.

Once downstairs I still couldn't find anyone. I checked out the window but didn't see Jenns car. I started freaking out. I definitely heard footsteps on the stairs.

I grabbed my phone and dialed Jenns number.

"When are you coming over?" I asked as soon as I realized she answered the phone.

"Just cleaning, then I'm on my way."

"I'm coming to pick you up." With that I hung up the phone and drove to her house. I just wanted away from my house. I don't believe in ghosts, but I was really freaked out.

I waited outside for Jenn then we headed back to my house. I was still scared but atleast I wasn't alone. Jenn thought I was crazy when I told her.

"Have you been sleeping well?" She asked with a confused look on her face.

"I think so. Other than last night." This started the topic on what went down with my mom. She was as shocked as I was. I just hope she's gone for good.

"When are you going to talk to the cops?"

"I'm thinking about letting it go this time, but if it happens again, i'm calling them myself."

"Yeah I guess, I hope she don't come around anymore. She's the one that wanted you gone so she needs to let you go."

"Yup. Have you and Jeremy been getting along better?" I asked her, changing the subject.
