Lia's POV
I woke up by the brightness of the sun. A couple seconds later I felt a sharp pain in my head. I looked around the room to notice I fell asleep on the table.
"What the hell..."
Just then I heard footsteps.
"Morning sunshine!" I noticed it was Carter.
"Ugh shut up and get me some Tylenol and water."
"Aye aye captain!"
I groaned and got off the table. I noticed James had a mustache on his face and Michael had lipstick on.
I giggled to myself but stopped because of the pain in my head.
"CARTER HURRY YOUR ASS UP!"
Just then Carter came in running through the kitchen.
"I'm here, I'm here! Here."
Carter handed me the pills and water, and I downed the water along with the 2 pills.
"Thanks. Dude take a picture of these two!"
Carter grinned and snapped a picture.
"I'll be sure to show then this when they wake up."
I started laugh but stop when I felt the pain again.
I looked around for Maddie but I noticed she wasn't around.
"Hey Carter where is Maddie?"
"She went out with this guy named Nathan."
I frowned at the sound of his name. Him, the guy that made me cry. The guy who was the reason why I got kidnapped. Who am I kidding? I was the stupid one who let Maddie get hurt. God... why am I so-
"Lia you good? You kind spaced out for a minute."
"Oh uh yeah I'm all good... better than ever" I mumbled the last part to myself
"Hey get these two some Tylenol they're gonna have one hell of hangover when they wake up. I'm gonna get some fresh air."
I walked out the front door and sat on the bench on the porch.
I sighed
I don't know what I'll say when I see Nathan. Will he hate me? Will he forgive me? Does he think-
I heard footsteps coming up my porch. I didn't bother looking up.
"Hey Lia hear me out."
I noticed the familiar voice. The voice that I once loved and found very addicting. My blood started to boil. I clenched my fists and tried not to swing at him.
"Look Lia calm down I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I shouldn't have hurt you like that. Can we start over."
Did I hear that right? He wants to start over?
I stood up from the bench.
"Who the hell do you think you are?! You would be crazy if you thought I would get back together with someone like you! Do you think I'm stupid?! I- UGH"
I heard the door slightly open but I didn't bother looking at it.
"Lia I'm sorry it just happened with Jessica I didn't mean to hurt you-"
"Heh hurt me? No never. I don't get hurt I get angry."
"Lia please I'm just asking if you can be my girlfriend again."
"No not ever! Get outta here before I break your nose again!"
"Lia-"
"GO AWAY!"
Matthew backed away and walked away back to his house.
I was still clenching my fist taking deep breaths and pacing back and on the porch. Then I heard the door open.
"H-hey Lia..."
I snap my head towards the voice and notice it was Michael.
"Michael did you hear all of that?"
Michael looked down then back at me.
"I- uh yeah I did. Sorry."
I gritted my teeth together.
"Michael you shouldn't have..."
"I know I'm sorry I did I wasn't thinking. So... crazy ex huh?"
"Yeah he made me think he 'changed' of course being the stupid girl I am I fell for it."
"Listen Lia I'm very sorry I guess you found out about Jessica?"
"Yeah... how'd you know?"
"I saw him and Jessica kissing in the halls after school when you left. Her minion Emily seemed like she was up to something."
My fists clenched.
"Yeah that little bitch hurt Maddie since her boyfriend was flirting with me."
"That's... messed up."
"Tell me about it. So how's the hangover going?"
"Well me and James are doing great. How about you?"
"Oh I'm doing great surprisingly..."
Then we heard other footsteps come onto the porch.
"Hey guys what's up?"
I gave James a small smile.
"James get in the house and take the Tylenol."
Just then James was clutching onto his head.
"Damn what the hell did we do last night?"
"Who knows." Michael said
"Anyway we're gonna take some Tylenol see you inside."
I watched them walk inside the house. Just then I heard a voice behind me.
"Lia?"
I froze in my spot when I heard the familiar voice. Slowly I turned around and I slightly gasped.
"N-Nathan...." I managed to say.
