The Lost Daughter - The Lightning Thief

Prologue

Elizabeth's life isn't the definition of perfect with her Father leaving when she was at a young age for no know apparent reason and then her Mother dying when she was just eight years old. To say the least she had a very bumpy start in life.

After her Mother passed away the authorities placed Elizabeth in an orphanage. At the orphanage she made a friend Rene Ross in which helped her survive. They were inseparable and acted like long lost sisters. Sadly after two months in the orphanage Rene was fostered and Elizabeth was alone. Not long after she too was fostered by a nice couple; Nicole and George Adams.

The next four years of Elizabeth's life included moving from town to town around Australia with her foster parents; Nicole and George Adams. Elizabeth moved so frequently she soon gave up on making friends and focused more so on her studies and reading... And the fact people thought she was weird and abnormal was the other reason why she gave up on making friends. Not to mention her last friendship ended too quickly and her aching heart hasn't healed. Being a loner in school she was picked on and bullied. She would always question what's wrong with her. If only she knew 'what's wrong' will soon become what's right.

After a while she got accustom to this way of life and embraced it. Sadly, when she thought she was just getting comfortable, her foster parents informed her that they were moving to USA, Manhattan.

Elizabeth thinks nothing of this drastic change other than the fact she has to say goodbye to her homeland. Only if she knew what is awaiting for her.
