Fred's POV

Belle was coming today! I mean, so was Harry, but all I could be excited about was my best friend coming to my house for the first time. Belle and I have grown closer these last couple months, playing pranks on everyone ranging from George to the Slytherins. George was in our prank group but sometimes we pulled our own pranks on him.

George groaned and threw his pillow at me as I ranted about how excited I was. "Is it time yet? They should be here now, shouldn't they?"

George stood, changing into his sweater from Mum and putting on the bracelet I got him to match my bracelet and Belle's necklace. "I don't know, but for your safety, they had better get here quickly."

My eyes widen but I just shrug, changing into my matching sweater and bracelet. "Let's go! I have to see if they are here!"

I ran downstairs and stopped. "Belle!" I saw the brown hair before I heard her.

She turned and smiled her beautiful smile. "Freddie! How are you? I've missed you!" Her accent was amazing. It was a lot thicker than the normal accent. It was perfect for her. It made her stick out.

She hugged me and I grinned. "So, I see you are wearing your necklace?" As I pulled away, I noticed something. "And Mum's sweater?" I grimaced. "I thought you would have burned it." I grinned and laughed as I ducked my Mum's flying fist, before linking arms with Belle. "Come! You must be tired after your travels."

She laughed before pulling away. "I actually have to take my stuff up to Ginny's room."

I frowned. "You aren't staying with me and George?"

Belle laughed again. "Fred, how many times must I tell you? It's George and I. And no I'm not staying in your bedroom. I'm sleeping with the girls."

Before I could complain more, George waltzed down the stairs and Belle smiled before running over and hugging him. "Georgie! How was your Christmas?"

He smiled down at her. "Very well, yours?"

She grinned. "Good. Oh! And August is okay!" She looked around the room.

My Mum gasped happily. "Oh, I'm so glad he came through, dear. We must meet your family soon."

She smiled. "They have an annual New Years party. You guys could come to that."

I frowned. "A New Years party? Really?"

She rolled her eyes. "Yes, Fred. But none of my other relatives know about magic or my witchy self. So you'd have to act like muggles."

My Mum rolled her eyes. "Oh I'm sure Arthur would love that." She looked around, eyes narrowing. "Where is he anyways?"

As she gathered us all in for breakfast, my father walked in the doorway, sitting down in his usual seat at the head of the table. "Morning, all." He kissed my mum on the cheek before opening the newspaper. He groaned. "Ministry is messing everything up again. Stupid minister of magic."

I smirked a little as my father muttered about the ministry and Belle was talking to Ginny. I reached over and took her piece of toast without her knowing.

She looked back at her plate and by her face you could tell she noticed something was missing. "Fred, where is my toast?" Her voice sounded deadly.

I grinned sheepishly as I took a bite out of her toast before handing it back to her. She glowered before biting off the other side of the bread.

Ginny giggled and Belle glanced over before tickling her.

Belle's POV

So, everyone had come. Ron had invited Hermione too and she managed to come, which was very exciting for me. A girl my age! Not that Ginny wasn't. She was only a year younger than us. But I was hoping Hermione would come because I was hoping to get some new book recommendations.

The man who I was guessing to be Mr. Weasley, looked up suddenly as if to notice us for the first time. "And who are these kids? I know ours, but who are the others?"

Ron cleared his throat, pointing to Harry and Hermione. "These are my friends, Harry and Hermione."

George and Fred mimicked Ron by clearing their throats and both pointing to me simultaneously. "This is our friend, Belle." Fred winked at me as George rolled his eyes.

I waved. "Hello, you must be Mr. Weasley." I smiled at him.

He waved his hand. "Oh no, call me Arthur. Everyone does." He smiled back at me. "Nice to meet all of you. Now going back to Harry. Do you mean, Harry as in Harry Potter?"

Harry glanced at Ron nervously before nodding. "Um, yes sir. That would be me."

Arthur looked on, amazed. "Really? Amazing. Well, welcome to our humble home, The Burrow."

I smiled. What a cute name for a cute home.

After breakfast, Fred pulled me into the living room where there was no one at all. Everyone had gone up to their rooms. I had offered to help clean the dishes but Molly had smiled and waved her hand and the dishes magically started to clean themselves.

I raised my eyebrows, looking at Fred. "Yes, Freddie?"

He looked around the room once more before taking my hands and staring me in the eye. "Belle Avalon Lily Black, will you please make me the happiest guy in Hogwarts and..." He looks around the room again, "and go out with me?"

I stand there, shocked. Did my best friend really just ask me out? "Fred..." I smiled and nodded. "Yes. Yes, of course. But we can't tell anyone yet. Not even George. You know how he would react."

Fred nodded before happily spinning me around. "I have been so nervous. Waiting for you to get here so I could ask you that."

I laughed. "You could have just owled me."

He wrinkled his nose, which I had to admit was kind of cute. "That's not romantic at all."

I rolled my eyes and kissed his cheek. "Let's just go. Gin and Mione will be wondering where I am."

Fred took my hand for a moment before nodding. "George will be wondering too." We both walked out of the living room and up the stairs. "Well, here's your floor." He looked around before kissing my cheek and whispering in my ear, "Thank you, Elle." I smiled and watched him walk up the stairs, before walking into Ginny's room.

As soon as I walked in, I was bombarded with questions.

"Where were you? Why did you leave so quickly after breakfast?" Hermione was practically in my face.

Ginny frowned. "And why do you smell like a boy?"

Aha! They made it easy! I had the perfect plan. Good thing I was good at keeping secrets. "Well, Fred told me that he had another present for me in the living room, so after breakfast I went in there and noticed it was empty. Fred came out of no where and sprayed me with his bottle of cologne to get back at me for drawing on his face with permanent ink on the train."

Ginny and Hermione rolled their eyes. "He is so immature."

I only nodded, a soft smile on my face.
